I don’t use Boveda packs. Do you have any live plants right now? If so, try leaving a fresh fan leaf or two in your Grove bag. That will help increase the humidity.

so… this is for all of you that have been following this thread for a while now.
i grew a couple strains indoors and out, mainly being ‘strain A’ for the giant sativa i grew outdoors as well as the 3 ‘strain A’ that i pollinated indoors. i grew 3 or 4 ‘strain B’ outdoors and 1 male indoors i used to pollinate 3 strain A females. i was going to keep it secret and call it after myself/my signature strain but i decided to go a different route.
here’s the real genetics…
Strain A: Malawi Gold, almost positive it was gifted by @Tejas , originally from “The Landrace Team”.
Strain B: Northern Lights #5 from Authentic Genetics
I’ve decided to call it “Malawi Lights”, and i plan on using a male of it to pollinate a few different strains including one to create my “signature strain” so we’ll have to wait and see what works out.
I hope this has revealed some of the mystery i left with the unnamed genetics.

“Punch you in the poo poo” type weed, Nice man! Thats going to be some exceptional flower.
Hope you find a good blend of a median flower time while capturing some of the better traits within these lines.
Both on there own are winners cant wait to see how the progeny play out

and yeah, I’m hoping it ends up being a nice mix of traits. i think those strains match together pretty well. it should create a nice male to pass on some of those traits onto everything i pollinate with it.

so… i’m thinking of doing a tester thread for the Malawi Lights… i just don’t know when i’ll have the funds to do it. i have other things on my plate right now. i’ll keep you all updated.
i have 3 different Malawi Gold phenos but i don’t know what i’ll distribute. #3 has injdica like leaves so that’s one out as i don’t want those genetics. #2 is the one i’m looking at, and #1 is a backup i think. the pictures of the ones above are in order. 1, 2, and 3 so you can see them for yourselves. let me know which one(s) appeal to you. 
maybe i’ll do 5 seeds of ML 1 and 5 seeds of ML 2 so testers can show both phenos. i did that before with my creation soloberry 2 and 3 but it didn’t go so well as people only chose one or the other.

turns out throwing boveda packs into dried out bud in grove bags was a terrible idea. added moisture but left s foul smells in every bag. i won’t be using them again. i’ve used them correctly in the past but i could never escape that smell.

it’s been a while since i cured some of the outdoor northern lights but they were a disappointment. i haven’t had malawi gold bud because i had to cut the malawi gold plant early outdoors. not sure how the Malawi gold x northern lights #5 will turn out.
i recently discovered by chance a spot in my city that will sell/order clones so i might buy a few clones just so i can mother them and flower out some clones for a decent quality harvest for once.
i would offer up some Malawi Lights seeds for testers but especially with my shipping method i have to redirect shipping funds into money for clones.

Damn, sorry to hear about the foul scents. I haven’t used bodeva packs but heard about a scent that it leaves off. I try to use semi dried stems if I need to try and add some moisture back.
Curious what clones you are interested in getting to fill your jars?

i don’t have the money to order a bunch of clones but they do carry extra clones from their orders. right now all they have is “carbon fiber” but that particular strain doesn’t interest me. . we’ll see what they have in the near future. i’m just gonna grab a few and mother them out and hopefully get batches of clones going for a while.
