If they are dim but on usually a couple taps will spark em but never hurts to start with new. T5s are great for seedlings and rooting clones in my opinion

yeah i’ve been using T5s for probably like 12 years. my last t5 was amazing but i took it for granted. like i said earlier in this thread, this vivosun t5 was half the price of the t5 i used to have. i think it was like 250 but this vivosun was 150. now 200 if you count the bulbs i just bought. i should have just said fuck it and drove an hour to go get the good one. sun blaze 48 4ft 8 bulb T5. lasted like 10 years or so. we’ll see how things go with the bulbs.

Oh cool! I did not know youve been rocking fluorescents thought maybe youre on the fence. Will be interesting to see how you make out with new bulbs so please keep us posted

the seedlings i put outside are dead. no surprise. it’s up to the blueberry diesels now, i put them into solo cups yesterday. they have a month or else i’m buying 3 clones from a local shop i found.

so i ordered bulbs for my broken T5 (new) thinking it was the issue. i installed them today and only 1 bulb worked along with the one that already worked. so was 1/4 now 2/4 work. this T5 is fucked. fuck vivosun. i shot them an email but i don’t expect anything back from them. It’s too late to return anything. such a fucking disappointment. i can make it work with 2/4 bulbs but it shouldn’t have to be this way. @VIVOSUN

i’m going to try and return the bulbs since i just bought those. it says i can return the package at a local UPS store but that’s my second option as there’s a store that also accepts returns or at least they used to. and there’s nothing i can do about the t5 itself, but i emailed vivosun just to see if they would respond but i don’t expect a response.
my blueberry diesel seedlings are too small to put outside so i bought a few clones. 3 blueberry muffins. the root mass fell apart during transplant and they’re not looking so hot. so we’ll see how this goes.

not sure what to do with these fuckers. 7 blueberry diesel seedlings. the t5 is now up close right above them so no more stretching like my previous seedlings. once these are out of the way i can start some seeds working toward my next breeding project.

so… due to health issues i can’t partake of any THC products anymore. i’ve been off smoking flower for a long while now and definitely no edibles. i didn’t want to say anything because i don’t want to deal with any hate and i’m just not happy about it. i don’t know if it will help me but i picked up a couple CBD products to see what they can do. 25mg cbd gummies and some cbd flower with no thc in either of them.

hey everyone. i’ve been thinking. I can’t afford to do a tester thread for my new ‘Malawi Lights’ strain because i can’t afford all the shipping. but what i can do is pick a select few to run them. I’m posting this to catch the attention of any of my thread regulars to see if you want to test run them. I’m looking for people who will run them right away or within the next month or two. if you don’t plan to run them don’t respond. let me know if you’re interested. i might not choose everyone so don’t get offended. i don’t even know if this offer will attract anyone to begin with.
