I went on vacation to Florida this year and on the way home I stopped at a roadside stand and bought a Key Lime tree.
It was doing pretty well this summer, but recently its started dropping leaves and turning yellow. Not sure if this is because its September and the days are getting shorter, its been in the 40s in the morning, or what.
So, I moved it into my grow tent for the winter.
Planning on feeding it the same masterblend I feed my other plants.
Anything in particular I should be careful of?
Edit - I also think some of the yellowing may be related to both over watering and lack of nutrients. Its in half “Citrus” soil from lowes and half Coco Coir, I read it needed really good drainage. I do think I may have been over watering it because I watered it to overflow every time I’d water my tomatoes and peppers. I threw a handful of 10-10-10 fertizlier on the soil, but besides that I’ve not really done much for it. I think good hydroponic fertilizer and not too heavy waterings should encourage it to come back.
