Any ideas what's going on here .?

Here’s so e pics of the leaves in question. Looks like two different things on leaves, some yellowish greenish others whitish clearish

Here’s a garden pic for reference. There is two Mother’s Milk f2 clones, one sour Wonder clone, 1 Cherry Queen f2 from seed, one One Ton x Cherry Queen from seed, three FEM Guavaz og from seed , two Haze n Honey from seed. I don’t think there is a y of this on the Haze n Honey or guava og. That said those pls TS are younger/newer/smaller. The clones were taken by me from pls TS I grew from seed. This is my first time ever working with clones

That would be thrip damage.

Insecticidal soap or a similar spray is your friend here. Not in flower yet are you?

Looks to be hot on the nutrition could be locking out all The nutrition. I would be looking at flushing the medium to lower the feed and or back off on nutrients. But we will need a full breakdown of media feed and water to give an accurate assessment. Cheers !!!

Edit- Didn’t see those holes… Always check your pest first. Holes in leaves point to pest almost every time.

Could also be russet mites. It’s definitely a small pest, though.

Bugs. Probably thrips. Spray the leaf undersides generously with Lost Coast Therapy or Dr Zymes. Also the top of the soil. Repeat every 3 days 3 times. As needed after that. They have a good foothold so you will need to treat several times.

What everyone always assumes thrip damage for me is actually russet mites. The damage they inflict looks similar, but they are treated differently, so it’s best to identify the pest first before coming to any conclusions.

In my experience the damage from thrips looks very different from russet mites. Russet mites will primarily suck the life out of new growth and leave it looking shriveled and brittle. I’ve found they congregate in large numbers where the leaf blades come together and meet the leaf stem. It almost looks like white dust. Thrips leave shiny-silvery patches and if the infestation is bad enough, you’ll see small black spots that I’m guessing is their poop. Also thrips are extremely easy to see by eye. Russets like I said, look like fine dust.

Yes, thrips usually leave poop everywhere (small black dots) and mites don’t

No not in flower. I live in rural Chile (South America). Was hoping to flower soon.

No not in flower. I live in rural Chile (South America). Was hoping to flower soon. I’m sort of new grower and never have dealt with pests before. I don’t have access to the products mentioned ad I live on Chile. I do have one of those natural liquid wetting agents but nothing specifically for pests, I think.

I have some dead leaves in the pots, should I throw those out.?.?
I have Diamotacious earth (whitish powder), could that be helpful.?.?.?

This is Top Crop complete mix soil mostly with done added guano (bought) and some added worm castings with rice hull (my own) . The soil mix is peat based I think with some other stuff in.
Every 10 days or so I feed with something called root tonic, like 1.5ml per liter. It doesn’t have any listed npk or anything. Then I think twice I’ve fed with mills nutrients 2 part base grow liquid nutrients. Soil may be a bit hot it’s possible but shouldn’t be crazy. I let them dry out pretty well, usually til sone lower fans are drooping. However I may spray with spray bottle on mist setting sone water on the top soil just a little to wet surface, between waterings. The two large mother milk clones drink a lot more, about double as compared to the two ladies with Cherry Queen (Bodhi SSN afghans) fathers.

Water is either tap water that I let sit out for several hours to a day or sometimes bottled drinking water. I do t have pH tester or anything like that. Chile is only county tin Latinoamérica that is safe to drink tap water for ppl almost anywhere in the country.

Pls TS are under 19 on 5 off of 259w led cob divided between two light modules. Humidity had been a bit higher past week sitting at up to 63%. Usually it’s more like 50% . Lights on temp fluctuated between 76-86f. Lights off is between 70-75f. There is one fan that doesn’t oscillate. Grow space is like 3 ft wide by 7 ft long but I don’t grow in all that space.

D.E. is not going to be very effective against russet mites. Pyrethrum, micronized sulfur, neem oil, predatory mites, UV-C light, and/or a dry environment may help, but russet mites are incredibly difficult to get rid of, without a thorough disinfection and new soil. (their eggs come from any infested organic matter brought into the environment). Also using an organic mulch over the soil will limit their effect on the plant.

Kids finally to sleep. I looked as you guys suggested for pests and found these on back of leaves

Too big to be a russet mite. Too blurry to identify, but looks oblong like a thrip.

Keep a good eye on the middle vein of the top leaves at the tippy top of the plants.Thrips like to hide on that vein and the young yellow cream colored ones like to lay parallel on them they blend right in you will catch them hopping around if its serious enough.Sometimes thier bright green the older ones turn black

Oblong oval shaped kinda dark beige light brown color.

I have this product. It’s in Spanish obviously but says to dilute 10cc per liter/quart of water and spray every 15 days, avoiding high temperature.
Has 2 active ingredients which look at my ignorant simple glance to be the DE I mentioned and that P word you mentioned (permetrina in Spanish)

It might work. If you’re not in flower, you can create an organic foliar spray. You’re in Chile, so you should have plenty of chili peppers. Grind them up and create a concentrated tea, and dillute it in water. Works like a charm for my outdoor crops. I also like to add basil and citrus to it.

I have an orgsnic one as well that’s like curcuma/tumeric yellow thick liquid. Not sure what’s in it. A guy who makes orgsnic pls t stuff and had large regular and cannabis garden, gave it to me in a trade along with $$ for a pack of Strayfox Kush fighter

Says .5ml per liter as a preventative and 1.5-2.5ml for “emergency”. But not sure it’s specific ingredients. I will reach out to him tomorrow as it’s past midnight here

Perhaps it has Pyrethrum in it?

Just make sure you mulch that soil. It does so many good things, not to mention distracts pests. Simple straw will work
