Any pepper growers?

My gf and I were wanting to add to the garden and had the idea of growing peppers to make hot sauce. Any OGers with any good spicy beans or suggestions?

Sugar Rush Peach is one of my favorite pepper that you can’t buy in the store. Really unique flavor if the only thing you’ve had before is bells and jalapenos.

Second this one. It’s my favorite pepper. I have 2 growing maybe coming up on a year old. They yield well, and taste awesome. They also make a beautiful pepper salt and flakes.

Where to get those then, if not available in store?

I just got into peppers and have only grown birds eye and Jalapeno and cayenne and bell…i never knew jalapeños could be orange and taste sweet…my mind is slowly opening from my Caucasian roots

Edit* oh you meant buy the actual pepper, not the seeds, got you

Im going to go try and find some now to buy the seeds

I have some purple cayenne and a green pepper I’m not sure what it is. Thought it was suppose to be jalapeno but looks to skinny. I’d like to get some other varieties also if anyone is feeling generous or want to swap seed

Chocolate habanero is a pepper for the gods. Smoky deep flavor that robs the tongue of all innocence.

Aleppo people is an amazing pepper and is usual used dried and crushed. Mild but highly complex flavor.

Aji Limon (aka lemon drop) peppers are really nice. Upper medium heat and wonderful flavor. Great on fish. Used a lot in Peruvian dishes.

Totally up to you, I really don’t have much trade though, only stuff given to me from other fellow OGers that I don’t plan on giving up.

I plan I doing a breeding run within the coming year though.

That’s the plan lol, I get any good at it I might trade bottles of made sauce for flips :joy:

This winter I got about 40 packs of seeds for $35 from this site:

Seeds came in the mail and I grew a lot of good shit. Small quantity of seeds so not for growing an acre of whatever. But great if you want diversity of plant types

Yeah I probably should have commented on this topic before making another, my apologies.
