Any thoughts on storing seeds in grove bags in original packs in the fridge

Just wondering if anyone has tried to store seeds in grove bags instead of glass or Tupperware containers. I think I can fit more seeds in grove bags and would fit better in the fridge. Appreciate any thoughts on this

I don’t see why it would be an issue, i keep seeds in the packages and would keep them in a bag/cardboard box in the fridge.

Seems counterproductive to use a semi-permeable bag to store seeds in since moisture reduces the germination rates. If the seed packs are air tight I guess it wouldnt make a difference but for any open packs or ones in paper/permeable packaging it seems like it’d degrade the seeds without offering any benefit

After your seeds are dried/cured they need to be kept away from moisture and oxygen and light. These things cause a seed to germinate. You want them to remain dormant until you choose to pop them. Cold will slow down their metabolic degradation.
