Anybody have the ac infinity co² sensor or similar? Whats your ambiant?

Im getting some whacky readings. Is this accurate?

I read ambiant should be about 4-800 ppm maybe.

Ya that can’t be right. This is probably a dumb question, but is there a plastic cover over the sensor or something like to protect it during shipping.

Is that the new ‘ai controller’ interface?

Yes it is. And i looked for packaging on the sensor itself. Only thing i saw was a decal over the little on-board photo cell. It definitely moves when you breath on it. So its measuring but maybe theres a calibration thats needed.

Cool that inside/outside temp & humidity is a nice touch.

Any chance its in a basement w/ gas a furnace or something?

Have you taken it outside to test?

Inside/outside sensor is supposed to recognize if lung room air will help or hurt tent conditions and adjust extraction fan speed.
Lung room IS in a basement. All electric, no gas at all.
Not outside but i may lend it to a buddy to see what his ambiant is. If it works with his controller 69.

I think I remember @Tripl3fastaction saying his basement hovered around ~800ppm with plants in it. Looking at the graph, it looks like the max reading was maybe just an error (big spike at the start?) and your ~720min - 1000 average might actually be close to correct. Can you clear that data and start a new series?

Probably. And dont get caught up on the peak numbers. They represent when i was in the tent bullshitting and breathing all over them. Also the 2700 is probably when i actually blew rite into the sensor to see if it shot up. Gonna call aci today and ask if theres a way to do a controlled test on the sensor or if theres a calibration procedure.

I have the AC Infinity CO2 controller, but it doesn’t have wifi/bt. I’m usually around 500-600ppm CO2. ambient outside is 300-400ppm. we have a gas boiler, and water heater, and gas wall fireplace.

I have a couple other CO2 meters as well… and… smoking inside will set them off. like 2500ppm. same with a gas oven/stove.

@NoCal @anon77330801 just talked to aci. You can calibrate the co² sensor with a button in the phone app. But you take the sensor outdoors for 5 minutes to do it. Then bring it back inside and it should be calibrated. Mine averages somewhere near 1000 and goes up when i tend plants for a bit. From talking to them im starting to think its accurate.
