Anyone else know the struggle?

I’ve recently stepped into the ring of narrow leaf long flowering sativas after growing pretty much everything else under the sun for years and the big difference is middle to late flower stages which can take weeks and weeks compared to hybrids. Transitioning, stretch, and early bud development phases are just a little longer but once those flowers set it can be a couple months before the typical pistil darkening and swelling. Patience is always needed in the world of cannabis gardening but adjusting feeding regime from hybrids to 14-20 week strains was the real kicker. Of course I’m using smaller containers again so we’ll see how they progress but earthboxes and larger mediums would def help

Funny im also delving more into these 14 plus weekers. Not sure yet if its worth the double flowering time…sure hope so. Ive grown a million haze hybrids but these are different lol.

Most cultivars you can see a daily change in flowers. With these maybe every 10 days or more. Hard to not get antsy when everything im running catches up in a couple weeks then passes.

Sure as hell hope the smoke blows me away or ill go back to 11 week haze hybrids.

I once started an Indica run in a different tent in the middle of a sativa run precisely so I wouldn’t feel this way.

If i had more than 1 tent, one would always be a long-flower tent. But it’s tough when you only have 1 tent.

well, yeah, just grow both, or maybe an auto? an auto sativa even?

and uh…i noted that you compare sativa to hybrids, implying that there are no sativa hybrids, i mean i know there are, i buy 'em allatime, but oh…shit, n/m.

Haha I’m currently going with a sativa and boy oh boy is it a humbling experience to say the least.

Somewhere between 1 and 10 weeks left depending on what the fuck they feel like doing

Yeah after growing out the longer flowerers there are moments when you look at an 8 weeker and think, “What did they do to you?”

It’s humbling and highly educational

I always bloom radical plants. I’ve got ones that take 54 days and ones that take 82. When I bloom a crop of high yielding 54 day plants, it seems like the cheat code activated.

I’m currently growing a Mullumbimby Madness x Nevils Haze x Malawi Gold aka Maze. I’m at about week 13 currently and it’s still stretching! I’ll be happy if it finishes by Christmas.

I hope so I feel like I’m unsure of that at this point. I feel at almost 12 weeks I’m no where close to the finish line. I’ve got 5 other plants coming down and she still looks like she’s in week 4. Taller than the fricking lights. It’s a whole mess in there.
