Anyone from Nebraska?

I’m in Oregon. I’ve been talking to someone in Nebraska who is planning on starting a medical business now that they’ve legalized medical marijuana there.

I’m really not at all familiar with the culture or market there. Can anyone tell me what prices are like? If there’s already demand for very high quality flower? Anything else people who are familiar with the area might think is useful info would be appreciated.

I’ve already been burned by someone wanting help with a start up so I’m going in eyes wide open. A pic of something from work this week “for attention” as they say.

Weeds everywhere my friend.
You bring clean high quality flower to Nebraska, people will buy it.
Even if you have to create the demand.

I lived between Lincoln which is the Capitol and Seward which is about 7 or 8 thousand people.
I can tell you that since the farm bill there has been an alt cannabinoid shop popping up on seemingly every corner, even in small towns like Seward the local vape shops have been selling the gummies. I also know guys are getting black market bud and hash from Colorado and Missouri. There’s definitely a market but with the low population levels and competition from the THCA and black market who knows how hard it will be. Also there is a little thing called ditch weed which is feral cannabis that is going to make growing a nightmare because of all the feral cannabis pollen in the air at certain time of year. I hope I helped and good luck with your venture.

Setup operations in Omaha. It’s the biggest city, lot’s of commerce. Many people transplanted from elsewhere, military folks, lot’s of open minded people.
ALL OF THEM - are in search of high quality, heirloom ganja.

That’s always been my experience.

I figured there would be a similar “gray market” there like most places since the farm bill. Having half of the population of oregon, which already has a small market, has definitely been a big consideration. I’m confident that getting in early and being one of the best producers in the state would take care of that. As for the pollen, we’ve already been talking about flitration. It’s a bit of an issue in Oregon now, too.

This location is also in the same area near Lincoln.
