Anyone growing CBD or CBG hemp flowers indoors?

I’ve grown quite a few varieties that were developed by THC strain breeders and were eventually bred to have have CBD and only have trace amounts of THC.

Those strains have always gotten me high enough to where I feel like there is significantly more THC than being reported. (Dutch passion. Sweet seeds, Dinafem etc. and other Spanish backs seemed to be the ones going this direction early on for whatever reason)

However, if I order hemp flowers from somewhere like Black Tie CBD, I can basically smoke and smoke and smoke and smoke that stuff and barely get high, but get significant pain reduction and noticable relaxation, The same as if I take CBD orally.

I’m wondering if anybody has grown any plants that are technically “hemp” indoors (something with a common hemp flower strain like Lifter)

I know they aren’t exactly intended to be grown indoors, as they are usually grown in fields outdoors.

At most I have a 2x2 space for any individual plant.

I’ve seen some sites selling seeds for hemp flowers that are CBD and I’d be interested if anybody had a real experience with that.

If you have a particular bank you can recommend that would be great.

Thanks for reading

I will second Hoku on CBD, CBG stuff. I have done the JokersxCBG and a couple from medgrow farm. I call it diet weed. Grows just like your regular stuff.

I just finished an ACE CBD#1 plant, and documented the grow it in my journal. Haven’t smoked any yet (still drying) but you can take a look at the progress and timeline for the grow. ACE claims that they’ve been working the line for some time, and that it regularly tests in the mid to high teens in % CBD, and less than 1% THC.

As others said Hoku is one of the OGs of the US Hemp Farm Bill as far as craft farmers.

He breeds properly, documents, and donates back to the communty free meds, etc.

A true OG medical cannabis caregiver.

Hes got the seeds ya needs

I’m growing some Purple Caper stuff called Luxor’s Chocolate CBD. it’s a 1:1 thc:cbd strain, 8% each, and 5% other cbd’s including THCv. It’s my favorite daytime ‘feel better, not fd up’ strain. Purple Caper has a few different CBD strains, and seeds are on north atlantic and a few other sites.

I grew a Cannatonic CBD. but I don’t like the high. It puts me to sleep every time. it’s not functional for me. unless I need to sleep. which isn’t really much of a problem.

As many have said, Hoku might be the place. But I suggest looking internally first.

I bet our own @misterbee or maybe even @anon57695954 can help ya out.

Offhand, I would speculate that Hemp CAN be grown indoors, as it is Cannabis also. It is easier to grow Outdoors, however. Think of the various Strains/Varieties that are Low THC:High CBD (ACDC, Cannatonic, Cherry Wine, Abacus), all successfully grown Indoors. Hemp is normally grown Outside because it can be planted with minimum spacing between Plants (5 - 6 Inches). If you’re only growing a few Plants, I don’t see why not.

I will choose between the following HEMP Varieties to include in my “Mister :honeybee: Returns Giveaway” soon: Sour Tsunami (CBD IBL), Cherry Wine x Otto II (CBD), Buffalo Soldier (Fem, CBD 1 - 2%, CBG 9 - 16%), Magic Bullet (Fem, CBD 14 - 24%), Otto 2 BAOX, IBL (CBD 5 - 15%), American Pie (Cherry Wine x Blueberry Pie (CBD), 2017 Medi Mix (CBD) and, 2018 Medi Mix (CBD). I have several CBD or CBG Stains/Varieties also.

I sure there will be something that interests all who lean toward the “Medical Side” of the “Healing Plant”. Stay tuned!! ALL, SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

Most hemp strains can be grown indoor without issue. There are several indoor hemp facilities such as secret nature etc. The biggest issue I have personally seen crop up on my own hemp farm was intersex issues under LEDs.

Hey Mister if you are ever interested in any regs I would love to shoot you some out. I chucked a killer male over a bunch of ladies my last year on my farm before selling, they have thrown some great progeny out with a few even being keepers throughout Germany and the southeastern United States. I understand if ya don’t have the time or space just wanted to offer as I’d hate to see all these beans just sit in the freezer the next ten years , plus I’m loving your style with seed that’s what I have always done. #FreeTheSeed

I’m growing a Sweet Rainbow CBD. Was indoors until this week. Got it to 2.5’. Looks like a nice plant. Should reach 5-7’. Obviously haven’t flowered it yet, but did try some flower which made me want to grow it.

Not that much info beyond that. My first with a cbd. Maybe I’ll update in some months.

I’ve been growing indoor with hemp seeds from Cheyenne Mountain Seeds. Farmers are their main market, but they do sell 20 seed packs. Still a bit expensive but they go bogo a few times a year.

All are consistantly high cbd/ low cbd. I’ve grown their Mountain Mango and Quick Kush (weird name for hemp, but super resinous). Just starting to try their Canadian Beauty strain.

I can recommend BaOx. I grew it indoors no problem. I’m also growing Willy G Lebanese, but the ones I’ve grown still have a pretty strong effect.

I can recommend this company’s: https://www.trianglehemp.com/shop/seeds/baox-improved-seeds/

If you’re in the U.S., monarchhillhemp.com was/is a good source. However, their Site only list ABACUS as being available currently. Looks exactly like Purple Kush, grows l-o-n-g Branches, mostly Bud w/minimal Leaves. A Trimmer’s delight. NOTE: When the “Hemp-growing Phase” started, the Market became saturated with Big Grow Ops, but the Hemp Processing Infrastructure was NOT in place. Some Farmers just left their harvested Plants to dry right in the field. This causes the Plants to “go Hot”, exceeding the Gov-approved Level of THC. The big push to get into the CBD Business took a toll on many Startups. Anyway, there’s lots of sources!! SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:
