going up there 'til friday. anyone want to stop in and burn one with the wife and myself hit me up here.
Oh wow, that is about 50-60 miles from me. I’m closer to the Gettysburg PA area.
It is a cool area, I’ve been through a few times, but know nothing of it really. We did spend a few weekends in Canaan Valley, many years ago.
I’d love to bring some gear over and partake with you. I’ve some scooter work being done today and tomorrow, so damn, not this time.
i have a starlink install to do today, then 2 days in airbnb. we hit anteitam last time and were gonna try to walk around gettysburg maybe this time. yeah, we have about a half oz of some good dispensary shit so if you wanna burn one send me a dm and we’ll hook up. not sure about where, but i know it’s legal in wv because we got a card, so…
Love Gettysburg, sadly I’m nowhere near it, enjoy my friend
Hey Top ShelfTrees1, as a local, you learn to evade the Gettysburg area, LOL!
I’m thrilled for local businesses, the history lovers, as it’s really changed from the bare bones area it was when I was a kid.
Hey sfzombie13, I only have my home grown gear, to offer, PA’s dispo offerings is a spectacular failure IMHO.
Fine for vape pens, all buds must be vaporized ready in PA. So overly dry, I just do not care for anything from this shitty medical system.
If my scooter is done today, I’ll know better what I can or can not do.
If it can be possible it would be way cool to meet another OG’er.
Should we not get to, I honestly, hope you and yours have a blast in your vacation time.
webe
we went to the battlefield yesterday and got stuck in downtown traffic leaving. i got pissed and went off gps and took the scenic route back and we had a blast. got sprinkled on walking around but it was hot as hell and a welcome relief at that point. going to head home today and unfortunately can’t meet but we will return, we love this airbnb we got.
i recall the way it used to be and loved it, now i was lost as hell. when i was here 40 years ago with dad doing the tour guiding it was a blast and sorry to say i forgot most of it. the most alarming thing was i recall vividly a plaque at the high water mark but the ranger said it was an open book monument and had been there since the 1890’s. i also thought i recalled walking the whole length of pettigrew’s charge (my wife is gen. pettigrew’s 5th cousin and takes offense to the pussy pickett who gets all the credit while cuz died from leading the charge) but there is a road cutting trough it and it has been there a while from the look of it. oh well, mandela effect i guess.
anyway, thanx for trying and we’ll hook up next time. we have to stop and see the place where cuz died. it was yesterday as a coincidence while we were walking the battlefield. have a great day. oh, and the house is only 30 years old.
Hey sfzombie13,
Yeah that GBurg traffic is a bear, at times. I found when doing a few months worth or work in Chambersburg, that running around Gburg saved me 45minutes to an hour, then going the shorter Rt 30, as that is really close to where I live.
Sorry it did not work out, sounds like once out of traffic, your exploring went well.
Hope it works next time.
oh yeah, we’ll be back for sure. we had an experience on the battlefield that was pretty great when we talked about it. have fun.
