The last set OSBA had was IBL from D. These new ones are the non worked Garlic bud seeds it appears.
The breeder was unaware of how much of importance this phenotype is to bringing back the IBL Garlic bud it was before.
I pulled full RKS from Garlic bud in cure, had Garlic always, but at bud time this candy smell appeared, super killer candy smell like. In cure it smelled unique to say the least.
After busting a fully cured bud the whole basement was RKS, we left it open for 15 minutes the bud before rolling it. Not one hint of Skunk in the taste, just super dank hashy like. But that bud busted open from the older set IBL Garlic bud 5 years ago was full RKS in smell. People thought it was Skunk, nope it was Garlic bud lol
At harvest for 1 week the RKS smell threw out on that GB plant, even my clones, that told me the Garlic bud was ready for harvest. Definitely Ortega skunk garlic plants from the last set, the garlic ones can throw out huge buds,
Smoked it daily for a year, zero burnout effect. But not a Skunk, but the effects like a skunk, thats what Ortega Garlic bud was.
