He(Sean)seems like a decent fellow, based on his Youtube reviews and I’ve seen some positive feedback regarding Migrow lights.
It seems Migrow uses some other drivers(Lifud)than Meanwell, so I’m wondering is there a huge difference in quality between these two brands?
Migrow goes for a pretty good price compared with, for example, Lumatek which is an old and solid brand here in Euriope. Lumatek’s Zeus Pro 465w costs about 800EUR with 2.9 µmol/J, while Migrow 500w is 440EUR with 2.7 µmol/J. Almost half the price, I find it hard to believe that 0,2 µmol/J more is worth almost 400 EUR more.
So what’s the catch here?
Also, if you have any experience with Migrow, let me know is it positive or negative, and if negative what went wrong.
I have two of the 2 x 4 lamps (array 4?). The first one I got was a replacement for a Mars light that had stopped working (that one did have a Meanwell driver). At first the MiGro looked dimmer to me, but I think it was just something about the spectrum or something. I ended up buying a second Array. Pretty happy with them.
there are some very good podcast by the maker of Migrow - all were positive - there is one feature that Mifgrow has , but can’t seem to remember it - might be their light intensity ?
Thanks guys!
As said, the Migrow guy seems to be very knowledgeable on LEDs and fairly honest; based on his Youtube content and my gut feeling. Just wondering about this huge price difference.
