ARE PLANTS GROWN WITH SUNLIGHT AND LED LIGHT FOR COMPLEMENT IS A GOOD IDEA?

I will grow some regular seeds, so i will put them int the garden with some led light to help the light hours.

Yes, especially in a greenhouse grow.

They use supplementary lighting to get the plants up to decent daily numbers for the veg. cycle. (when the solar hours were deficient).
The fun part is when they had long solar hours and they are in flower… Then you have to pull tarps to block the light… and then pull tarps to unblock, twice a frick’n day… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hat-tip to those intrepid souls that have been doing greenhouse grows in Alaska etc.

For the past couple weeks I’ve been carrying in a 10 gallon pot around 6pm to keep it in veg under a 3 foot LED bar because I realized I topped too late
I’d say it helps a ton. Your idea is the same principle with less heavy lifting.

I’d be against exposing the LEDs to the elements tho, personally, unless they were built for outdoor use

Good luck, fren :3 I hope it goes well

thank you man

oook. thank you man

Absolutely. Especially if one wants to keep their plants from flowering. Breaking the dark period overnight will make the plants think they’re still in veg.
