Are these thyroid issues?

mg+ doses are generally safer and more effective than mcg doses. paradoxically, small doses of iodine can trigger hyperthyroidism in people with existing issues like nodes etc, whereas larger mg+ doses that increase serum iodine past a certain level will fix the problems lile it did with me

some studies estimate japans average around 11-12mg daily due to seaweed (particularly nori) consumption, but others put it far lower at like 2-8mg

some people take 50mg+ a day which i feel is too much. its not necessarily dangerous for most people, but wasteful and overkill imo. i settled on 12 as it was around the median of what was effective across a bunch of studies/papers and i feel best at this level

if 2 a day is working for ya then keep at it. are there other ingredients besides iodine? if so make sure youre not getting too much of something else with the extra drop

Just straight Iodine, there seems to be a lot of conflicting info about it, I have seen those high doses talked about as well, but then you see other studies that say they are vastly over estimated.

Thats interesting about the low dose causing more problems than too much.

I guess its like a lot of things in life, if you think your doing good at a certain amount, then maybe your going to be doing better with more. Worth testing for sure aa far as I am concerned.

I figured being bigger than average I would need more than average to be on the same level.
