A little early for my tastes, but nice job for your first grow.
You should let that one mature more before chopping. Wait for the calyxes to swell and pistils to receed. Chopping early is the #1 rookie mistake. Or overfeeding. I’m no expert and I almost chopped early too but these forums saved me. I’ve also had my fair share of problems, but all those problems taught me things. From all those mess ups and pest issues, I’m now way less overwhelmed.
Keep it up. Your buds will only get better. One thing I would suggest are Grove bags. I was hesitant to believe the hype at first, but I love them. They make my life much easier, but the main thing is they make my bud stay dank smelling better than jarring immediately after drying.
I started putting the dry buds in a bag for a month or so before jarring, and so far it’s preserved the smell better than anytime before. Anyways I’m still following along.
I am letting it go longer for sure!! thanks for all the kind words I actually have some grove bags on the way hah ive heard only good things so had to get them for this harvest
I took these off loreline 2 a few days ago, well see if I can get them to root …
also… since cooler temps are coming I will be able to test out this vivosun dwc i have, that will be set up in my closet once rosetta stoned is finished!!
i figure i better not try to do an auto seed in my first time trying dwc, so heres my current selection of fem-photo, any suggestions?
i forgot i left a fem kushberry from dna genetics out of the picture so thats also available
I’d grow that Kushberry from DNA.
thats what i was leaning towards since i only have 1 seed of that one.
day 19 for the salmon river og, seems small still i dont think it liked being transplanted.
loreline 2 - day 28
It’s just growing roots. When you transplant the plant focuses most on growing roots. When those roots grow out a bit the plant will take off. I would suggest watering it good too. Looks pretty dry.
okay, i just gave them a good water thank you watering is still one of the things im working on, especially when knowing when its dry enough to water again but seems i keep letting it get too dry. and that makes sense
I think people are too worried about over watering. If the soil has enough O2 it’s fine to keep it moist all the time. I focus on watering around the stalk but not on it. That encourages the roots to grow out more. If the outer soil is dry why would the roots want to go there. At least that’s my thinking.
That’s pretty much the only training tactic I use anymore.
From reading your thread and seeing your plants I’d say you’re a natural born grower, such good results for your first grows, really impressive work @Ashley, and that lone seed is your first fem seed, dont hesitate to grow it:+1:
thanks so much that means a lot!!
You’re welcome, I’m no expert but credit where its due👍
