Going to transplant some girls I just popped, wondering how deep into fall I can take them?
Dare I say November? I get it on mother nature, but we’re coming out of a really dry summer and I haven’t got a good data point for what comes next. Cold AF, dry winter I’m suspecting. Does anyone have a longer date range experience?
Depending on where you are I would say mid October at the latest
Even then here on the east coast sometimes late September
I was thinking about planting some new autos and finding out.
I don’t know where you are but last season we didn’t have a hard frost where I am until late November last season. And 2.5 months is going to put me harvesting late October/November. I’m worried I won’t want to deal with them in the middle of harvesting the photoperiods which is my main reservation.
He’s not too far from me, a tad colder possibly as he might have more elevation.
Depends on the year, last year? Early november was barely do-able. No hard frosts, but wet weather in late October sucked. I pulled a few buds off for bud rot before they were finished, I remember that. Some years we’ve had snow in October, so, that might do em in (I HAVE seen pics of some IN the snow that have survived!). Depends on how hard a frost / deep the freeze gets…
