We got 800mls of rain over the last 6 days. Iām just lucky my strains havnt started flowering yet. You might like autos first harvest is around early november
Thanks for the heads up on the Shellite @slain thatās a hell of a lot cheaper than ethyl alcohol. And at that price I wouldnāt worry about saving up all my trim etc for one large batch I could do it whenever not having to worry about it costing 50 dollars for every soak.
happy days.
Thereās lots of good and lots of bad out at the patch.
Some creepy some crawly.
Letās look at some pictures of cannabisā¦
This is the last part of the track into the patch, itās all overgrown and a PITA to trek through so I donāt think anyone will venture there accidentally or otherwise.
If you didnāt know what mouldy cannabis looks likeā¦ Thereās heaps of pics but we only need to see a couple.
Gorilla Glue X Super Skunk forming some really nice bud structures.
What would you rather in your patch, spidermites or hundreds of newly hatched funnel web looking fuckers?
I am looking for a product that I can use to get rid of these without doing too much damage and ok for the environment something like napalm!
There are still a few buds around unnafected by mould. Gorilla Glue X Crockets Haze.
I cleaned out the Dragons Blood Hash Plant a bit and bought home some cuttings. I will grab cuttings of the GGxSS next time.
All the Gorilla Glue X Tutenkhamen that went in late are doing fine just lots smaller.
I was trimming a bud from one of the Shiva Dream X Blues I had rescued and thought Iād grab a pic of its long slender one finger hands. Beautiful.
Happy days.
little feets spreading the moldā¦be careful out there!
There is an organic chilli n garlic spray mate ā¦ canāt remember the brand
But I do know the 8 legs demons do not appreciate it very much
You have got some good looking survivors there btw
looking good thereā¦except the fcking Mites n Mold
the lil Spiders may decimate some pests
Interesting Pedroā¦ next round I might select and seed some of the ones that show more resistance to the rot.
The GG/TUT would make the perfect SOG strain indoor I am thinking, the ones I put in lateleft untipped went straight to flower and grew as single cola about 40cm high with no lateral branching at allā¦ I lost about half of it to bud rot also
The smell and taste of it is very unusualā¦ sour and spicy and a bunch of other smells I canāt put my finger onā¦ I find it very potent with a great buzzy mostly head highā¦ My fave type of highā¦ when you get a chance a smoke report would be well appreciated, it gives me a LOT of external feedback on whether itās a strain worth continuing onā¦ Hopfully we have seen the worst of the wet weather bro!
Well I can say that the punters are happy with it even being taken down very early. I do want at least one more go with it being planted out no earlier than mid November.
There are not actually any mites. Just the spiders made a web that is very much looking like spidermites infestation.
Yea that SDxBlues looks crazy. Beautiful little thing.
Thatās good. Predatory spiders are great. I have a new love for spiders. Not spider mites heh.
Hey Bro,
Im jumping in as a fellow aussie to say gday and good job. running my guerilla at the moment with mostly sat dominant stuff and really dreading mould.
Keep up the killer work!
Thanks for dropping in @katanaking00 and welcome to OverGrow mate.
Hey mate
Sorry to hear about all the mould buds, one of the joys of outdoor growing in the humidity and all the rain weāve been having.
On another note, thereās some nice looking buds coming along, letās hope they can develop further without to much more rain causing problems.
Just to think a couple of months ago we were worried about the fires, now itās the rain and the humidity that has come with it all.
Keep up the great work.
Cheers Johnny
Now thatās funny, supprised it hasnāt shorted out.
Canāt pick the weather this year hey.
Cheers Johnny
Definately cant pick the weather, gotta keep those indoors ones rolling too
Man, aint that some shitā¦ That pic says it allā¦our weather is changing. It seems like Extreme is the new normal.
Have the fires all been brought under control? I havenāt heard anything about them for a while now.
Yes the fires as of last week are ALL under control with the help of some rain. I believe some of them were burning for over 3 months.
Unfortunately this may be our new normal. I hope not. Be safe out there!
