I use Kaspersky, never had a problem with the PC since I started using it. There was something about it being Russian and a possible threat advised by Microsoft or someone else, but I think it’s more a case of not wanting other companies stealing your information like Microsoft or Google do. When I used tor it had no problems function in conjunction with Kaspersky.

I think you have found the culprit for your stomach problems, by the looks of it, it seems to only flare up, after booze.

Maybe the monitor is the problem, how fast is it’s refresh rate?

Who does refresh rates anymore with LCD monitors? Got the latest drivers for the video card and 1920x1080 abd the only refresh rates if that what they are is 59 or 60 Hz. Was on 60 so I reset it to 59. Don’t get the ghost now so may have to mess around and see if it comes back.

Windows Explorer kept crashing on me today. Thought it was because Tor Firefox was eating up over a gig of ram but shut down Tor and it still happened but only when I right clicked on a folder. Could click on the folder to see the contents but not the other. Finally opened Explorer as Administrator and it works fine.

I got Avast shut off or things seem to screw up all over. Maybe I’ll try that Russian one. I used it many years ago but Avast has been good for a long time. Joined their forum so I could bitch and complain. :slight_smile:

Got a nasty shock today while doing a 3 hour feed, water and maintenance run on the girls. 'Nanners on my Ayahuasca Purple girl! Just one big bunch on the very top cola. No sign of pollen release tho some were open.

Moved her outside in the sun then collected the bunch and put them in a tiny ziplock back then stuck that in one of my seed/pollen drying jars with desiccant to dry it up fast. Went over every tiny bud with the magnifying glass and couldn’t find another one anywhere. Weird just a big clump but I’ll be watching her like a hawk now… Trichs are half milky on her now so she’ll be coming down real soon. Same with one of the Sebrings. All at 60 days now.

The AK is still flowering like mad compared to everyone else so she got nutes, sulfur, carbo and extra K and the rest just the same minus the nutes.

Hoping they get bigger yet man but happy with this grow so far. Most are just in 10L pots and now I’m wondering if they would be even bigger in larger pots but yanked a couple out and they’re not rootbound. At each repot I saw the bottom off the rootballs so get lots of fine roots thru the whole pot.

It’s amazing how much better they grow when not all covered with mites and loose pollen. :slight_smile:

I’ll get lots of good close up shots of the buds when I crop them. Piece of panda film using the black for a background looks good. Put the camera on the tripod and set up a couple of lights all pro-studio style.

I bought some closeup tubes at a flea market in BC for my 35mm Canon AE-1 so will finally try them out and see what kind of pics I get with that. I think you can get the pics in digital format from film too or I can scan them myself. Then I can compare them to my 20mp digi cam pics under the same light and setting. I have 3 tripods so can set it all up Joe Pro like. :slight_smile:

I think black panda film will have to much reflection, with a flash, you might have to do it on the ISO setting, which shouldn’t be a problem with a tripod. I cant use that setting with my shaky hands.

I’ll have the camera on the tripod and be using lights to brighten things up so won’t need the flash tho I have a real cool one that has all sorts of settings and a filter to soften the flash. Can take flash photos out to 70 ft. in the dark. I found the manual online and printed it out.

Got a bunch of different lens for it too. Wide angle to 205mm zoom plus 2x and 3x multipliers, polarizing and UV filters and even a remote shutter switch tho to make sure closeups are rock steady I use the timer to take the pic. Have 2 of the AE-1 bodies as well.

You could be right about the reflection tho. The local bargain store has those poster sized pieces of thick paper in different colours so I should score a couple of those. Black and white for sure. I was just in there today too. :slight_smile:

Oh yeah. Seeds arrived!

One each of Sebring’s Revenge, Loco Mota, Earth Lover and Maui Sunshine. One’s on back order but I can’t find the email I got about it. Where to start? lol

Only got 13 of the Loco but that’s plenty. 17 of the Earth Lover but 46 nice Revenge and 35 Maui. Thanks @Sebring! Nice touch with the cotton pads to keep the seeds comfy and not rattle around in transit. Use a hole punch to make those?

There was enough bits of frosty calyx in the Loco Mota for one good little hit in the pipe. Taste like old timey hash/thai stick flavour. Definitely starting a few of those soon.

Found a baggie with about an eighth of mystery pot in it. Whatever it is it kicks ass. :slight_smile:

He doesn’t skimp on amounts, does he. I have some Maui Sunshine, where did you find the baggy hiding? What’s the loca mota CBD or THC?

I am really enjoying the ReikioX dark auto, not sure what it’s called but it smells and tastes great, nice buzz on it, once I got used to it. It’s great for sleeping, not much couch lock though, not sure if it’s because I had to chop early due to bud rot, or normally like that. I have another still growing so I will find out soon :grin:

I was thinking last night I need to pop a few more different strains, or I am never going to get through them all lol. May go for the Maui Sunshine next and the 2 single seeds I won in comps, East coast diesel and something that has numbers in its name lol.

See if they have any Matt black card, that would probably be best. I think a plants colours always pop more on a black background.

Asked myself the same thing and searched OG. It’s supposed to be Lowryder x The Devil (Delicious Seeds) by @ReikoX. I only found Il Diavolo at the Delicious website, so I assume it’s that. If that’s correct, it’s THC.

High guys. Sorry I went AWOL for so long but I just seemed to get overwhelmed by crap and had to take a break from everything.

Not looking great for the wife’s liver cancer but we still don’t know a lot. Because of the metal rods in her back from scoliosis she can’t get an MRI so when they tried to do a biopsy using ultrasound to guide the needle they couldn’t see well enough to be certain of position so gave up. Plan now is to do another ultrasound and/or CAT scan 3 in months to see how fast the tumors are growing.

I plan to use most or all of this last crop to make RSO for her plus I have 100g of kief and a few oz of pot from previous grows to toss in too. Just went to the doc today to get my medpot permit renewed and got another year of 12g/day. Also asked if he would sign one for the wife and had some of her scan results with me so he knows I’m not trying to scam him. He wants to see her when he comes to town in a couple weeks and it looks like he’s cool with helping her too. I’m going to file for my grow permit and get her to file with me as her designated grower. Under the stupid ACMPR rules we could have 4 registered growers at the same location but no one is allowed to help anyone else! WTF kind of stupid BS is that?!!!

A person with a designated grower is allowed to assist in all aspects of the grow including processing the pot into oils, salves etc so I figure that’s the way to do it to stay between the lines. I’ll have to get a criminal record check but no problem there. Last conviction was a Driving over 0,08 in '93. Everything else got buried with a pardon around '91 and I’ve never been even charged for a drug offense much less convicted.

Would it be legal/cool to get my record checked at another city and say it’s for a job rather than basically tell them I’m setting up to grow? Don’t want to go to the local, small town cop shop and basically draw them a line to where it’s gonna happen. May need to upgrade some equipment and get my electrical inspected as well.

I’m probably not going to be at the doc’s when she sees him and not sure if I should be as I think he wants to discuss it with her alone. He asked me if she had tried it before and was aware of the effects and she used to like a hit of kief before getting giggity but quit that over 15 years ago and hasn’t touched pot ot booze since tho she never did drink since I’ve known her.

She’'l be able to tell him that I’ve been helping folks with how to use/grow/ etc in the forums for years and do a lot of research for myself and others. If he wants I’d reduce my g/day so it can go to her. Either way we could legally grow a shitload of pot. :slight_smile:

I should be headed out to BC next week. Lined up a ride to Edmonton and can fly out of there to Abbotsford for as low as $65 using flighthub. Looks like 125 or so will fit my schedule better tho. Not staying too long tho. Hoping to see my sister while out. Her cancer looks terminal so it may be the last time I see her above the sod. She’s on 2 different chemo drugs and cranking up the RSO for an all out fight. Still sounds fine on the phone and isn’t all bummed. Went to Scotland for 6 weeks to meet her birth family’s relatives and did a 4000 mile road trip with her bestie to Colorado and around so no cannabis for quite a while.

Finally got my last plant finished. Did the AK last and got the best yield. Really nice fruity/blueberry/grapefruit smells on that one and I was thinking of cutting it out. Very frosty too. The rest were on the low side and a bit disappointing. Loving the Hindu Kush. All dark purple and pink buds, nice sedative buzz and lots of sugar. Stickiest plant of the lot tho the Ayahuasca Purple was pretty gooey too.

I’ll do a post about the harvest with pics shortly but burned out with all the running around today.

Very glad you’re alive man, I was starting to think you might have died. Sorry your wife and sister are not doing so good, hopefully they will both beat it.
