Day 35 from seed.
I was bed ridden for a while and couldn’t tend to the plants - they were in a sorry state. This is after a few days of being transplanted and on their way to recovery.
One plant topped itself and the other plant I decided to train.

Hope you are feeling better. The plants appear to be recovering.
What kind of bag seed do we have growing, do we know?

Day 44 from seed, already much better and I probably had fed them at this point:
Topped;
Trained, i’ve used another U stake to pin the head down making it turn back to itself, wooden stake removed:

not a clue, my man. These seeds are 7+ years old, at the very least, only two that popped of the 20 or so attempted.
Looking like a sativa leaning hybrid at this point, imo.

Day 51 looking much better and i was thinking of flipping to 12/12 at this point, but decided to hold off a bit longer.
The topped plant is getting real bushy:
The trained plant has been super forgiving and cooperative:

Nice fat start on the last photo.
What is the strain?

No idea on the strain @99PerCent
I have a literal bag of seeds that contains seeds from the time between 2002-2011 or so. These two started as seeds from that bag. Looks like good fortune was on my side, not only were they both girls but from what I can see also may be the same genetics.
Still early days

Bag seed is like a box of chocolates… I hope you don’t get that toothpaste filled one!

Minty flouride flavor. What’s wrong with that?
Thing is, someone, at some some point decided on growing a seed that was the mother of this seed. That might not have been mother nature
There’s a good chance it has good genetics.

I don’t mind bagseed, especially when I’m just starting on sorting out my environment and process.
Be a shame if these end up being stellar but genes are lost because i didn’t keep a mother. Oh well, that’s the way she goes!
