Badger goes camping with his buddies

I’m a habitual cloned lol. I say don’t let anything go until after the smoke report lol.
Speaking of, I took 4 cuttings off each of my two bag seed grease monkey plants. Once they root, I’ll dose half of each in mykos, maybe just use up the MG potting soil I have left over lol.

I’m hopeful for the chemdawg, and who knows what the blueberry wedding cake was crossed with. You never know.

I did the final uppot today. Once they get a good stem popping, they recover, and I get a net up, I’ll flip them. Then the fun begins.

Not sure how I missed this one. I love these ‘from scratch’ grows!

Thanks buddy. My last indoor grow was 17 years ago. I vegged under fluorescent shop lights and flowered under a 400 watt hps. I love the mh bulb. It has kep them nice and compact. I want to upgrade to leds at some point. I’m amazed at what they do with them nowadays.

No kidding! I remember 12-15 years ago, 1g/w was the goal to achieve. You’d be considered dialed in and top of the game with achieving g/w or a little more. Now the reports with these lights, 1g/w is “easy”, with 2g/w being doable!

Plants look really lush and vibrant after up potting. They will be super happy and reward you for it…I have the burple led lights and am super surprized at even what they do.I have the 1000w hps going in my tent but will be upgrading to high end LED lights after i harvest the tent and closet.

Plants are looking great! I’ve got a mix of blurple and some 90 dollar quantum type boards off of amazon in my veg tent and more cheapo quantum types with good LEDs in my flowering tents. I love how I don’t have to do anything to control the heat aside from the usual venting - I save a ton on not having to run any a/c compared to before, and my temps are in the 70’s and low 80s.

I am thinking of adding in some of these lights that @Who pointed me towards as supplemental vertical lighting in each corner of my tents:

a buddy of mine that has no money grew out a n.l. auto from seed to finish on a socket a 4 way splitter and 4 200w equivliant led bulbs with the domes taken off! on either side he had 2 more sockets with a double splitter with the same bulbs for a total of 8 bulbs. got all the equipment/ bulbs from a local salvage store for less than $50. it grew a very nice plant in this homemade tarp framed w/ 1’’ x 2’'s grow tent. he’s starting a photo in it soon. nice part about this is as the bulbs get older and lose some shine, he just has to replace them. he has a small oscillating desk fan in there to keep the air moving and it grows great!

Good points everyone! I will probably build my first led unless I get a good deal on one of the cheaper ones. I thought I was set on the bridgeluxe, but that going for the record thread has me re-considering. There are many options. That corner lighting could be a boost as well.

I’m gonna build a light or two also. We can share our gaffes. Hopefully not.

Those are the same diodes I’ve been running for a couple of years. In fact, my dad and my brother use them too. They are pretty nice for the price if you are in the US. Otherwise, shipping becomes cost prohibitive.

More power per strip than the bridgeluxe, but they have to have a heat sink and they are more expensive.

What other pros/cons are there?

@Kingmambo nobody needs to get shocked bro!

Pros are customer support and the heatsinks are drilled and tapped which makes assembly easy. Cons are the price, heat, and less flexibility. If I were going to build another light, I would probably just use the bridgelux.

Thank you sir. My wheels are turning.

I haven’t really got to look yet and compare pictures. I want to see if I got some growth today and how good my transplant job was in avoiding shock.

Didn’t take note until tonight how different these two chemdawgs were.

@Badger. Get a notebook and start jotting everything down. Did you use anything when you transplanted?

No droop and they look lush and perky i would say it was a success.

No. I’ll try mykos when I have a couple similar clones so I can compare. I do need to take better notes, but nothing special to it this time. My regular soil, smkns transplant method.

I’m keeping it simple for now.

What size pot did you go to?
