You bring that mulch inside for your plants, Badger.
Might want to watch that for pm and mites.

I did not think of that, but thanks for bringing it up. I doubt pm, it was all pretty dry, but I should have let it sit for a couple weeks first. Preparation be damned!

Maybe you don’t need to worry bout mites where you’re at or mold.
Our weather has been up down all around.
Snow one week, I mean 9" on the ground and 17 degrees next week damn near 70’s, then snow this weekend.
Winter be here for duration next week.

Was cleaning up leaves yesterday and back sides on the bottom were all wet yet.

The mites were everywhere this year. I’m not feeling to great about things right now. I hope the cold sent them into hiding.

Thats why I shut down during the late spring thru summer into early fall.
Screw that, got better things to do with my time than fighting bugs and mold.

Well, apparently I need the practice

sprinkle a little D.E over the mulch. i do that to every plant i start indoors because i use wood chips for mulch and fox farm soil almost always comes with bugs. if you sprinkle the surface every week it kills them off and adds slica and micros to your soil for nice strong plants.

A good inch of sand on top works well also for gnats.

@SmknCanuck @Badger Ive have some great influences along the way. It honestly feels longer thanreally has been.

coarse D.E also works well as a mulch. only need about a in. and also kills bugs.

Really? That’s two birds with one stone. I bet you don’t have an issue with gnats either.

nope. not a 1. D.E is a great amendment in many ways. bet you could use it in hydro also.

Day 4 of flower, and I gave them a barley sst. Thanks brother @corey. You’re a big part of this also my friend. I can definitely tell they are getting it on, the tea should give them some good enzymes to help make nutes available as well as horemones to help those bud sites develop.

Anything that would not pulverize into my tea, did not go to waste, it went to eggs :yum:

They are really blowing up now. I’m trying to keep the temperatures as close as I can to control stretch, but this is really a dialing in run. Getting these babies spread out the best I can, with the room I have to work with. It’s getting tight.

We have a more powerful 220 unit that does heating and cooling now. It should help us keep closer to our target now.
I did get the ventilation hose moved up and out of the way, after pictures of course.

For the branches that are getting really stretchy, try super cropping them between the spaced out nodes. It’ll stall/stop the stretch and let the others catch up, then you can crop them too.
