The last dose of “Organicide”. These names kill me. all I know is is if this is organic it’s made from some type of fish rot it smells like dead fish in a bottle and it will separate really quick if you don’t shake it up but it leaves the plants with a really nice sheen on the surface

After this treatment any remnants should be dead. I didn’t see any just going around when I did some pruning up bud sites before I flipped it.
I went ahead and flipped it into 12/12 and prayed that they were gone. I just hope they stay gone and it stays a little bit colder outside. It seems to keep the numbers down a little bit.
I just ordered a clone done but have no idea what to use to make them grow roots. I used this powder shit nothing. But I need the dome I know . Ill have it on Tuesday. I just lost like 6 male plants …imma stick to fems for now. Can’t take any chances. Just saying hey
What brand bro? I have seen the miracle grow but I feel like a greenhorn using anything miracle grow related. But I’m my own worst critic. I ordered a clone dome with heated matt and clonex gel.
My big problem with the gel is the short shelf life. The powder, just keep it dry and you know where it’s sticking. One I currently have is garden safe take root. Though to be honest, I’m talking about my experience over 12 years ago. Lately I’ve had less luck with my rooting, but I’m counting that towards the donor plant not being fed properly beforehand, and I’m still getting use to these LEDs. When rooting, I’m now learning that too much light actually stimulates the leaves and doesn’t push the cutting to root. I use to use T8 or CFL like 8-10” above the cuttings. That will also happen if you keep the rooting medium too moist, the cutting is getting enough water through the stem and doesn’t need to grow roots. If it takes too long to root, it’ll loose nutrients and chances of mold increases. The aero cloners do work too, but it always took my buddy longer to get his cuttings to root and had a few fail, while I use to have 100% ready to plant in 7-8 days. The key with those is the ability to make many more cuttings than you need, and you set it and kind of forget it.
I keep mine about 30" from the light and don’t use any type of rooting hormone. I definitely recommend using root hormone I just always forget to have it on hand and have almost 100% success anyways.
30” away… well that put it into perspective lol. Currently I have my cuttings just at the edge of the light. Though the sides of the container is mostly wrapped with a label still.
I have a 8 bulb t5 and keep them off to the side like you have them and it creates a nice environment in the clone dome. I veg under 6500 Kelvin but the most explosive root growth I’ve seen was under 5000 Kelvin led at the same distance.
I prefer clonex but my grandma when she died left a bunch of garden and stuff so I ended up getting a bunch of rootn’ hormone that was from Frank’s nursery. You know how old that s*** is. That s*** roots plants in about a week if the cutting is from a really healthy part of the plant, if that makes sense?
If you put your clones in the water IMO they take about a month to root. What you want to do is cut some of the leaf material off to not make the clones real top heavy I cut them from a v-shape from the back almost like a arrowhead. And then of course the stem I cut it a 45° angle under the faucet. I shave half of it in just a tad bit just scratch it with scissors.
If you’re in a jam take some soil and put it in a solo cup with holes in the bottom. Fil it like 3/4 of the way up with dirt. I always just tap my dirt down loosely until I water it down. I go straight from cutting off the plant to a cup of pH water. From the water into the clonex or rooting powder whichever one you choose. Stick something down to make a hole. I use a pen.
I slide the clone down in the hole without making too much contact with the sides as possible. I press the cup from the sides to push the dirt together rather than scrape the material off as you push it in a tight hole. Then you take a ziplock sandwich bag you spray the bag you don’t spray the plant.
Don’t forget to mark the cup. I absolutely get my clones mixed up all the f****** time. Take the Ziploc bag and pinch the ends shut until it tightens around the cup top leaving it puffed out like Missy Elliot’s black suit. Keep it down in the corner away from your light when the bag goes dry pull it off spray the bag and put it back on. Everything will work perfect.
I’m sorry that explanation took a long time. I root all. Some plants take longer than others to root but honestly it depends on the strain. I hear MAC takes a while. I know blueberry is finnicky AF. It just depends. Keep them warm keep them wet keep the humidity up good to go. A 7" dome is deffinitely the way to go. I just do it with solo cups and bags but…I’m an old head cheap ass who uses ph drops to double check..
If I had the money. I would just grab one of those burpee light, dome, and mat setups. Those things are sweet. Just turn the mat to warm turn the light on and they just rock out. EZ
I know it dude. But I smoked it out of dispensary I had to find out who had it. Most of the time is disappointing most of the strains are either cuts from some crazy places you can’t ever get or they won’t tell you exactly what it is like some f****** conspiracy.
if it’s definitely good to know that I can grab the Holley weed I did as soon as I could too. Definitely be making some f2s off of that. I’ll probably be growing that stuff out with a few other of these strings for the rest of my life. I need to find me a mean ass black/purple Bodhi strain.
I’ve seen some wicked pictures of booty stuff so I imagine it’s probably grower error. I can never get any one of his trains crossed with Bubba coast to finish out the Bubba Kush always gets powder mildew on it It’s just f****** I don’t understand it I can’t get it???
Yes that’s the best advice I’ve heard so far. Don’t use any f****** miracle grow s***. Even they’re trying to run this organic line whatever garbage. Your plants will fall flat in their face and flower and you’ll be chasing deficiencies. That should be on their label. Do not use this s*** to grow any dope in!!!
That’s it man I got a little t8 and a couple LED bulbs for my mother plants. That’s all I need to get them till about a ft to 1 1/2.
However I find that they root faster being under my HID light in my main tent in the bottom corner of course I’ll switch them out if my 10 10 12 12 and put them back in there copy whole with the LEDs. But like y’all said you can get it done just about anyway. if you really don’t have that much experience.
Just remember ABC always be cloning and you’ll be all right. just remember warm and humid is good cold and stagnation equals death. If you were doing a big time or if you had the space I would recommend getting a small 12 pot cloner or something tiny and they root fast as f*** as well.
Better. Like 10 wedding cake cuts next two some Double Stuff #2 babies. I keep everything really small half solos or whole. I reuse them. Just wash em with dawn. I replace the water and mist the tops.
Like I said it takes a bit longer but it works 50% of the time every time. Lol. Seriously. This is how my lazy ass does it. Gives you some time to play with as well.
Grow some aloe vera plants for petes sake, you well always have fresh cloning gel.
Easy peasy brake off a leaf split it open squeeze contents out, wahlah.
I have dam near 100% success most of the time but been making clones the better part of 20 years, I actually have a 120 site areoponic cloner but don’t need to make anywhere near that many now a days so it sits in storage and I use a dome, sometimes Im lazy and just stick them into solo cups like you got going on and they normally do just fine
The Aloe Vera? I did not know that, that’s awesome right there. I have a baby aloe plant we just got. For some reason. I got into growing succulents. People were getting wedding gifts and giving it to me somehow became the plant guy. Hehe!
Side note (I have a string of pearl succulent that I’m going to transfer over and put into a big white great philos looking vase and let it drape down the sides, it looks awesome. Succulents are easy to transfer. I’ve always wanted to Peyote Button or what is it the San Pedro? Yep 1 please.
My friend let me hold a 54 site easy cloner and the thing itself required a f****** 2x2 light and not a actual 2x2 light but just enough light to sustain the cuts. My little T8 is perfect. the clones.
The larger ones imo they’re honestly IMO for a small grow house for real op, somebody who just puts clones out and has people who want them.
But yeah if you’re real crafty you can create your own easy clone or out of a ice cream squared bucket like a blue bonnet or one from Walmart and just put like eight spots in it out of a rubber floor matting or styrofoam and using an aquarium pump or air stone I think?
