I use 10-20g of kief. I use mostly dry trim and buds. I don’t keep the leaves.Half a spoonful is a good dose if you can handle it. I’m not sure on exact dosing.
You can press it and smoke it with some hot knives.

Didn’t have the green sand. Lava rocks for drainage. Perelite. Miracle grow Perelite is all they had. I’m done with MG. The soil falls flat in flower IME.
So couple cubic feet of potting soil. Kellogg lol. We eating cereal here. I was gonna buy a Burpee soil ph meter, moisture, and something else. Rapitest has a meter I was looking at. I gotta grab some on drops. HD was out. One thing I noticed new was color and warm cool Wi-Fi bulbs. Has anyone that messed with those. Phillips color changing 8watts a piece though.
I may be nervous, but I want to get this BB grow right. Figure out how I’m gonna mix it. Mix the lava rocks or use them as a base. Maybe like an inch for beach pot. I’ll pull the fert numbers from the soil. I still have up and down and my FF trio is still straight for another grow.
Quick fast pics of the numbers. I gotta make sure I know how hot the soil and perelite is. Of course I grabbed the MG perelite so it has there fucking plant food in it! Fuck.

1.5 qts Red Lava Rock
2.5 qts Horticultural Charcoal.
I imagine the lava rock like a drainage layer. Incorporate the Perelite while watching the amount and the fertilizer per volume used. Same with the EWC also the chunk of peet the seeds will start in. Any info is great for the BB run. I know it’s fert sensitive. I’d like to mix it all in a new plastic trashcan I bought for dry storage to have soil premixed and on deck. I almost bought some superthrive. Anybody used Super Thrive? Help with my soil mixing pleeease!
Shit I left the black sand and my I’D. Mother F! Looked for the green sand with kelp I believe it is. We’re not getting soils like F.F, black gold, coco. Pisses me off.
The real champs have failed waaaay more than anyone else in this world. 
forget the pH meter unless it’s the fancy type for hydro; i’ve had 3 different ones & they’re basically useless, IME. The grow store should have pH test drops(just the fluid) from GH.
if you already have light, forget the flashy color fun, save your money. 
if the lava rock is larger(like 1-2") then use as a drain layer or return it; i bought the same stuff & it’s too heavy for indoor use, imo. also try to rinse it as much as possible. if it’s smaller(1/2" or less) i’d incorporate it into the soil along with the rest.
mixing… personally i like a wheelbarrow & hoe like for concrete but a 5 gal bucket, soil bags, or a plastic tarp work OK. as far as ratios go i’d just use everything you have there & call it good. a little water will help control dust so mist the stuff when mixing; i water the perlite bag before using it…i.e. stick the hose in. 
silicosis is 
bad stuff. especially with our fly-trap lungs. 
superthrive doesn’t hurt, IME, but also isn’t a wonder drug. a buddy used it for rooting cuttings. i’ll defer to the rest of the gang.
Overwatering will probably be the 1st lesson. I still have to resist temptation.

The MG perlite is fine, it has so little fertilizer to matter IME.

Looking good @Baltimore one thing I like to have in hand is kelp meal has a ton of minerals in it mix it in or top dress doesn’t matter. EWC Is very good stuff I like to use it at 10-15 of total volume … when used in Higher amounts mix can start getting to dense IMO ya have any other questions ask away! Cover crops is a good thing to have also .

Cover crops like clover? I left the black sand. I think someone was saying green sand with kelp. I hear kelp is awesome for your babes. Top dress with it. I think the low fert numbers on everything will carry them til they’re a foot tall.

Bag of dolomite lime or regular Lime? I see bone and blood and maybe some bti. Oh yeah what kinda kelp? I’m getting everything ready this weekend so I wanna get all my ducks in a row.
I would add the peat moss (guess you grabbed soil), EWC, perlite, and lime. Save a few gallons of this (it’s called LC’s mix) for seedlings and clones. Then add blood, bone, and kelp. Use this to transplant from 1-3-5 gallons then flower.
