Bayarealivingsoil making mistakes to build better buds

I have used that method many times and it works great. I also have a spray called insta-set that I use but baking soda is something many have lying around.

No worries. I had a buddy that was big into remote control planes years ago. He turned me on to inst-set. He used it for quick repairs in the field where you wanted to glue and go. Been in my tool box ever since.

@DougDawson I remember the old gas RC planes. My Pops was into those and I remember one horrific crash in the schoolyard… I don’t think there was much left to rebuild mini explosion and all lol. There is some pretty popular glider spots by my office when the wind cooperates but I think the drones are just too good these days to compete.

I never really got into them myself but he was big on the hobby. I can’t argue that drones have come really far but it’s really a different style of flying. Planes can’t match drones in many ways like the lack of need for a runway and ability to hover but I can’t see drones doing all the stunt flying those guys would do. Loops, barrel rolls and such are not really a drone thing.

The wrecks on the gas planes were thrilling !!! The large models were amazing to see in the air cool memories Cheers @DougDawson @Bayarealivingsoil

Here are 3 trays but are they strong enough?

Also considering like a 40"x40" tray that the bed can live in, covering the excess with some kinda lid and bottom watering.:person_shrugging:t6:

Thanks

Dropped all 6 Mephisto beans in water today. Chemdoggin, Hubbabubbasmelloscope, and Forum Stomper x Grape Walker Kush. Will get paper towel treatment soon. Gonna get seedling soil or something similar in solo cups after the rapid rooters and plant the cups bottomless in SIPs. Other autos will go straight in seedling soil two to a cell. After paper towel. Recieving the same cup to SIP treatment. Might go 3 to a cell in an attempt to plant every auto bean purchased. Experience says plant em all cuz they be hella small.

The 91 and D SIPs have been covered. Both got heavier canna leaf sprinkle cause of less cover crop. Both got Gnarly Barley too with the D getting like a cup of Craft Blend. Thats gonna be the only SIP feeding for this auto experience. The D will be the strongest battery.

Good Pot starts in the dirt!

Bless Up :green_heart:

Hubbabubbasmelloscope, Chemdoggin and Forum Stomper x Grape Walker Kush from Mephisto in rapid rooters under a 20w led from Amazon 2 in a pack for $22 iirc. Light distance/intensity hopefully works or is workable. Seed popping again. These are autos so is this day 1?

hey there bayarealivingsoil, I checked out your thread, its awesome man, I was worried about bugs outdoors until I saw that you use cement grounds to grow on, that really helps in mitigating bugs

do you use mychoriza? its a fungus that helps roots, I use myco+ on about the second and a half week of veg, as directed on the instructions, and it keeps indicas stout and grows fat plants, additionally check out this organic bud booster, its 30$ for 5lbs and its organic, even smells like shit, I tried it on my crop on a whim and it gave me maybe 5-10-15% percent boosts in bud. I followed the directions somewhat, I grow organics using the top soil method, where you put in about 1tsp/gal every 3 weeks, and 1tsp/gal dolomite lime every 3 months.

the amazon link is Amazon.com : Royal Gold Crown Jewels Organic Imperial Boost 0-15-11 Dry Soluble Fertilizer, 5 lbs - for Excellent Fruit and Flower Production, Encourages Late Season Blossoms : Patio, Lawn & Garden

I added about a small medium shovel full (about 5tsp/5gals) at about the fourth or fifth week of bloom, and I started seeing fatter buds, id try it on one plant if you can try to squeeze it in, just put some on the top of the soil and water, and try to throw in some humic acids

I don’t have any pics, but here is my organic white widow that got destroyed by some people, yeah, someone took some clones off of it

happy growing!!

Welcome @mysterious_stranger. Thanks for the suggestion. Those look amazing.
Yeah this new project is on like astro turf. Your first season outdoors will convince you its easier. Bugs aint really a concern cuz nature likes balance and is very powerful. Oh are you in the Bay Area? If not i really shouldn’t be promoting outdoors. No idea your environment and the challenges therein. My bad. But the Sun is so much better than ledhpsmh and the c02 is perfect. Again welcome. Are you making any ferments?

ty!! I’m actually in Nevada with folks but I might move towards Humboldt sometime soon, I was losing my shit thinking how easy it is to grow outdoors with a cement ground and avoid mites and thrips, fucking, saved me a ton of money haha

but yeah I’m from the bay but living with family for now until I can get my feet on the ground again, security problems due to drama, the land I’m moving to is pretty dry, and sadly its secluded as hell, just have to invest a bunch of money, my uncle does construction so, he has all the help he needs.

I don’t ferment nutrients, I use dry nutrients such as bone meal and bat guano and I top dress the soil I use after I put some dolomite on the top of the soil (nutrients are 1tsp/gal/3 weeks and the ph buffer, dolomite, is 1tsp/gal every 3 months), I also use myco+ on the third week of veg and plants, and yeah, that California sun can grow mega plants !!

Gonna focus our conversation on your thread so as to not confuse myself.

Saw what i think were thrips walking on trich heads this season at 100x. Couldn’t really see a problem though🤷🏿

Ok leaning towards Ollas again.

Expensive. Smaller one
is 1.25g $45. The bigger holds 2.9g. Duh. Soil capacity for the bed is like 80g-85g but the recipe makes 68g. 2 is 5.8g close enough to the 10%. Better than cutting out corners of the bed to build a big ass SIP.

Gonna do some kinda mini hugelkulture thing.
Fun.

At $67 this would be the most expensive sprayer bought. If it lasts 2 seasons its worth it

Looks like a Chapin with $200 marked off.

Mostly done

Hoping it allows more light than it appears to. Be back over there on Monday building soil. And general organizing. Thinking bout low watt 4ft shop lights to supplement. Going outta town on the 29th for 5 days. Be nice for autos to be in final homes by then.
