We’re back at home and the garden did just fine. Some plants were a bit dry and begining to wilt but it should be fine.
After setting the Sour Bluetooth and blue frankenshine in 12/12 for 4 days they both are showing sex. Frankenshine is for sure female. Pretty sure the SBT is as well. First pic is frankenshine, the second is SBT
The seedlings did alright. They were all very thirsty when I got to them. One of the big bubbles almost didn’t make it.

Yeah they for sure are, I’m very happy about that. Now the new problem im gonna have is TOO many plants! I might not run the white widow and honey cream to make room.
Maybe? I’ve done it a few times and it actually usually produces a good amount of potatoes. It’s just filled with leaves left on the ground from last year and some peat moss mixed together. I didn’t fill it and pack it down enough though. It’s sunken down quite a bit. I’ll have to top it off a little.

I got my Regular Emeritus badge!
Rainy evening so that means the greenhouse is all mud and muck. Not going out there today! I need to get a few yards of mulch delivered and mulch the pathway in the greenhouse and around the yard. The to do list never gets shorter.
Haven’t gotten downstairs to check out the rest but l tell ya what they’re giving off a subtle smell that is delightful.

This is where I’ve been almost every night for the last few weeks. After work and when the kids asleep I’m down there repotting plants. My back hurts and I’m tired. I hope people buy these damn plants.
Greenhouse is looking good other than the mud pit in the middle. I haven’t had the time to take care of that yet.
Afghanis are doing really well. AA6 isnt as green as AA3 but looking healthy.

Well first day of selling plants has wrapped up. Only had 3 people stop by but those 3 people covered the cost of 4 bags of dirt. We’re still in the hole profit wise but hoping word will spread.
I realized I haven’t updated the indoor in a while. These two plants are totally different animals. The sour bluetooth on the left sips water and has stayed squat and bushy. The blue frankenshine on the right guzzles water like crazy and is almost twice as tall. After doing the 12/12 for 4 days it stretches a lot
The littles have been doing the flip to 12/12 for the last two days. Hopefully we see some good results. I’m not too worried. Im sure I’ll end up with more than I need.
Noticing yellowing leaves on all the indoor plants. My water ph is usually pretty good but my meter is broken. I used a pool test strip and it looked to be around 7.0. I then realized my indoor water runs through a water softener but not My outdoor. My outdoor water tested around 6.0. might have to tap a new spigot before the water softener in the basement. I should actually be able to just T off threaded hose that feeds it to make it super simple.

Have lots of n on standby for that Blue Frankenshine. This is the first I’ve seen this grown, so happy she is female.

Really? Honored to be the first then! Was this your cross or someone else’s? She’s gonna be stinky for sure. Even before I flipped it, it lets out this nice skunky earthy aroma. The stem rub is sweet smelling. Like sour candy or something. I can’t put my finger on it.

All I did was chuck some blue sunshine pollen from @VAhomegrown onto a lower of the Frankenstein from johnny that I grew in the tent. Should be a win win. That Frankenstein I hear dominates everything, which is a good thing. Her flavor and pretty much everything else was top notch. I’ll find a couple pics
Outside Frankenstein . This was the best she looked before I ruined her and starved her. (Pollinated with blue sunshine)
Indoor Frankenstein (pollinated with sour bubble)
Actually I had that backwards. The outside one got the bs pollen. I’m even more stoked to see this girl now.

Looking good @BeardedMech!
Reading that gave me a lot more interest in the small plants and seedlings I see for sale on the weekends at the farmer’s market. I’d buy them but I don’t need them. Your daughter is a bit older than mine but she’s very involved in all the gardening outside. It’s fun but challenging.
Glad you moved some plants and got some cash flow. That has to feel good.
You have a lot going on there. More than I could manage. And you are going to have PLENTY come harvest time

Thanks for stopping by @FieldEffect. Yeah it gave me more appreciation for the small business owner for sure. I always try to support local business. I’d prefer to give my neighbors my money than some corporation.
My daughter loves to help me in the garden. The memories we create there are going to stick with her forever. She however did NOT enjoy sitting with me for hours waiting for potential customers!
Heading out now to set up for day two of plant selling. Wish me luck!

Welp looks like I made a mistake, sour blue tooth looks like a male. That’s alright, I have plenty going still. I should have enough females. Some of the small ones have started to show pre flowers. Hard to say what they are yet. Only the blueberry muffin cross is showing at the moment.

Picture dump since I keep forgetting to update. Had to steak all my maters. They were starting to topple over.
Trimmed some of the leaves on one of AA3 colas just as an experiment. Want to see how it effects growth of that cola and trimming afterwards.

Afternoon all! Been between the garden and the garage trying to sell off my plants. Not much luck still I’m afraid. One customer today. At least I got my garage cleaned out finally!
Everything is looking green and healthy. The critical red hourglass autos are starting to take off now. They seemed slow to start.
In the green house the afghanis are looking great. Despite the hell I put the one through she’s doing great. Everyone got fed today and I started spraying a BT and Purecrop1 mixture on everything. My bok choy and lettuce is getting desimated by caterpillars.
That’s all for now. Haven’t been as active here the last week or so. Just been hard to stay motivated and moving. Hope y’all are doing well! Thanks for stopping by!

Those Afghani start chunking out like mad holy cow. It’s like someone stuck a straw in them at night and are pumping them up.

Awesome! Can’t wait for that. About when does.thst happen. I’m thinking they have another 3-4 weeks. They’re starting to put out some smell and sticky stuff. Nice sweet skunky smell to it so far. The blue frankenshine stem rub has this sour candy smell I love. Really excited for that one. I have some plans for how I want to prune and train that one since it’s so far ahead. I’m thinking a large scrog for it. Aggressive topping then let under a screen to keep a mostly level canopy. I can’t let her get crazy tall so I plan to let her bush outwards.

These two started chunking up really good at about 3.5 weeks, same with the smell starting. I’d imagine she would grow very well like that. I’m excited for that one too
I have a few plants I let get leggy and I’ll probably be doing some sort of gymnastics with them too to fit them in the tent

Well crap. So the stats for M/F so far… Out of the 10 potential plants I have 5 confirmed males, 1 female, and 4 to be determined. I don’t like the odds at the moment. All 3 blueberry muffin X mint chocolate trip from @I.am.human were males. One of the 2 surviving rotten pineapple @Cartwright is out. One Big bubble from @duo looks promising but too soon to tell. I’m gonna be upset if I dont get at least one rotten pineapple and one big bubble in the garden this year.
Really contemplating popping the fem white widow I bought for just this reason. I only have 5 seeds of those and the honey cream fem. I also have a few choices of auto fems I could pop. But I think I’ll leave those for worse case scenario.

Got stuck in the green house. Went in to water everything when I got home from work and it started to hail. Worse places you could be stuck, but I forgot my lighter .
The afghani girls are looking good. The one is starting to frost up and put on weight. The other is trucking along right behind it. There’s definitely something to the whole jlf thing
@Kasper0909. I cleaned out my pool cover last weekend and it was some stinky scumy water. I saved a little and watered the girls with it and they greened up really nice. The flowering plants seemed to like it more. The critical reds are still a bit pale but doing great.
