I could see the potential advantage in being able to destroy an ICBM while itâs still outside Earths atmosphere but it wasnât possible and as far as i know thatâs not changed.
It did make a few people very rich without killing anyone so it was a partial success

They can now destroy satellites in a matter of seconds. Weâve already killed a few. ASATs are pretty advanced now and could be easily used to kill an icbm

Didnât think they could hit something moving as fast as an ICBM or even get a laser powerful enough into orbit. Pretty big game changer if they can
