Best ways to dry and cure

Anyone ever dried outside in a humid environment?

64-67% rh is a bit high unless thats at like 10 degrees C.
Most aim for 58-62

Could be your issue

I try for a 60 degree 60% humidity 14 day hang then jar and burb accordingly. First time I’ve had humidity packs testing them in the vacuum jars they’ve been 3 plus weeks now and doing a good job nice smells and decent humidity levels so far.

Anything more than 55 % humidity can generate mould, not speaking about pests, it should have at least a good air flow … :sunglasses:

I’ve been using humidity packs. Boveda 62, have been for several years. Would having more water content cause it to smoke harsh? Using these I have never had a mold issue, I started when I was using a vape as it was recommended.

I tried this strain from a dispensary before buying the clones. Same grower. That wasn’t harsh like mine.

When you used to use the rolling wardrobes, did you use a carbon fan and filter to scrub odor? I am currently getting ready to dry in a few weeks, have a 4x2x5 wardrobe I’m going to use as well. But my concern was the SMELL? Wanted to use a filter and fan but the wardrobe doesn’t have a setup to allow that really like a tent would. Maybe buying a larger filter fan combo and putting it in front of the wardrobe to act as a direct scrubber in front of it? I don’t know I’m trying to think but I love the wardrobe idea

I use a wardrobe as well but I have set it up with a slow draw fan and carbon filter with holes drilled over the back where it is up against the wall. So it is unsuspecting. The fan is also very quiet. So i just have a desk fan in the room running so you cant hear it. It scrubs it great. You cant smell a thing unless I open it. However, to get that you will have to cut holes. I used small shelves inside the top corner of the cupboard to hold the filter.
Having the scrubber outside is not going to work. It will reduce the smell but it wont mask it completely.

How long do you have to “sweat” the jar before the 2nd drying?
