He might be hospitalized from diabetes
I was going to post an update a couple days ago but my wife got bad and spent a couple days in the hospital.
So here I am. Trying to not kill these babies. They have been down to 36 degrees F. And on top of that. They were calling for 5-6 foot snowdrift. So I watered the heck out of them. Overwatering during this cold was not a good idea. But I thought with 6 foot snow, I might hafta wait till spring to see them again. So I flooded them. Well with the cold, they were not growing so they sat in next to freezing water for about a week. They actually look better than they did 2 days ago.
I do think they will be ok. Heres a couple more pics. Actually thought the clones(the smaller plants in front) are doing pretty good. The growth slowed but they look OK
They don’t look to bad considering. The clones do look great tho.
Best wishes to your wife man.
Appreciate that brother. She has lung and heart problems for about 6 years now. I try to take care of her best I can. She’s tough tho.
Sorry to hear that. Hope she recovers soon.
Stay warm.
I been married to this woman for 38 yrs. Been through the biggest part of my life with her. She was there when I needed her. And even handicapped, is the all around best woman I have ever known. Plus she still puts up with my shit, so theres that! Thanks guys for the concern.
Sorry to say, there is no cure for her condition. Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. PAH. It will just get worse until either her lungs give out or more probable heart attack. What it is, is the arteries going from the heart to the lungs have become super constricted. The heart therefore can not supply oxygen rich blood to the lungs. So the lungs cant perform their job and the heart tries to work overtime to keep up. It never keeps up. So she is on 10’s of drugs and on an oxygen generator 24/7. Kinda sucks.
She sounds like a real fighter.
Hang in there my friend.
If you shit is as big as my shit, that’s really something!
Everything is rolling along pretty well in the tent. Starting to pick up steam a bit after that damned cold blast we had. Thought I had several dead ones out there. They pulled through. Everything is up-potted to 5 gallon bags. Some are looking pretty nice. I will get a pic in a while. In the meantime I’m gonna try this.
This is actually the first smoke of a cola bud from the last grow. Its been curing about a month now.
That looks amazing!!! With that cure time, the smoke should be sweet n smuv! Hope it’s as tasty as it looks
Good thing they’re tapered at the tip, right?
A beer and a bud. Not a bad day at all.
It looks nice and pungent. Enjoy
literal vs figurative, whatever LMAO
Heres a piccy of the next grow. The lanky ones that look flowery already are the White Widow from seed. Not really looking too bad considering their cold life so far. The smaller ones in front are Blue Cookies from clones. The look better but are not growing very fast.
At least they are still green.
Those clones DO look pretty nice tho. I topped them last week and the new tips are about 2 inches long already. I am thinking next week to put in flower. I am not going to do the extensive training I did last grow. Just top and spread them out and see what we get.
On my Colloidal Silver project, the shemale is still putting out nanners. And the female I have right next to her has what I belive to be some seed pods forming.
I think curing has done a world of good for my smoke. The smoke is very thick and heavy but smooth on the throat. This pheno smells like funeral home flowers x spice and dirt. You already know the bag appeal ( which I dont care much about since it is my own meds). Smoke is not much to the head being indica, but after about three bong rips I was sitting there staring off into space and my arms and legs felt super heavy. A few minutes later and I realized I was still holding the bong with it in my lap almost spilled. I say this will be some night smoke for sure. I would definately run this again. In fact I took 2 clones after about 3 weeks into flower because of how she smelled and the nugs were hard as a rock. They both survived and have put some roots but they have not grown hardly at all. The plants looklike they have quit flowering and are going back into veg. I will continue nursing them along as long as they remain green.
