update on my black snow outdoor plus bonus purple kush. the tallest lanky one looks about 13ft. the picture isn’t good but check out the frost on the tall lanky black snow

i’d have to go check, but last time i checked one was “green-ish” and the other was a creamy orange smell. pretty damn skunky walking past them though.

i might be pushing it but i’d like to take down my outdoor in 1 week. excess rain is always a problem though. way too much rain and not enough nutrients this season.
Anyone have any issues with germinating Black Snow? I’ve got 6 strains started with 94% germ rate on 5 of them and haven’t been able to get one Black Snow to germ. I tried scuffing them and cracking a couple…no luck. Is it just a slow goer?

Yes. They’re stubborn, and it’s pretty universal.
I went 0/6 over a year ago, i kept them moist until they molded, and had to move on because I was gonna run out of my stash.
Still have 4 left that I’d like to circle back on!
They need some extraordinary measures

i ended up cutting down my purple kush bx and 1 of the black snow. both had nice dense buds and frost. i left the 2nd black snow because i want to get these two trimmed and out of the way before i tackle the one still outside. when i was hanging the black snow i smelled cantaloupe. the one outside has tiny buds, i really don’t want to trim it but it has to get done. i cut the 2 down because i don’t want to get them stolen on halloween by some asshole teenagers.

looks like i’ll start trimming after lunch. just got some grove bags in the mail. i’ll probably start out with the purple kush and go from there. hopefully the buds aren’t too dry, that’s a major concern.
i picked up these trimming scissors for 50 cents at the amazon store, they might work you never know.

i know it’s the purple kush i’m commenting on in the black snow thread, but i had someone try the dry purple kush and they said it was harsh but tastes like some kind of burning wood and gasoline. i just smelled my fingers from the finger hash trimming the buds and i would say it smells like gasoline and “watered down” grape gatorade. i’ll get to the black snow tonight or tomorrow, i’m only half way through the purple kush.

bit my fingernails and now i taste gasoline from the purple kush. not a sweet smelling gasoline but a foul offensive tasting gasoline.
