Good Luck on this adventure…
BOLA sounds 1000% intriguing and I hope you have a blast…

Sounds like a wild hybrid; Leaning to the Sativa or Indica @Soiltech ?

I can run some around that time. I’m generally only able to pop four regs on a run, due to space. If that works for you, I’d be more than happy to run them. Sounds like a great project!

Poly hybrid through and through - by leaning do you mean the effects? Or how it grows?

I would say this plant has some features that lend themselves to a typical sativa. Only because they are more narrow leaf set. But I don’t see any reason to attempt to place this plant in either category specifically - firstly because these categories mean very little when it comes to hybrids.

The grandparent plant (Sorbetto x Tux) was a very narcotic stone. It had me impaired enough that I had to think twice before ‘operating heavy equipment’. I would say heavy body and physical head squeeze more leaning to a typical kush over typical sativa characteristics.

Thanks for those details @Soiltech, exactly on the money !!

Violetta is a Seed that I’ve had for a few years now. Was stoked to see that it was used in your BOLA Creation

You were bang-on, I was asking about the plant leaning towards a Sativa or Indica foot-print; Hybrid Wins :+1:

Hey @Soiltech great to see you keeping it going! I’m going to throw down a few plants for the first time in a while. I think it might be the tux f3 you sent back to me. Cheers!

2021… how time flies! :rocket:

If I’m reading this right, I want to give you the warmest welcome back. I hope you are well, and maybe got some time away from home base. As I find this the greatest challenge when always running gardens.

I have some reverence for your work and really enjoyed the opportunity to run and use it. I have to say I’m honoured that you’ll give a little look into the selection I made. I hope I did some justice, some of our conversations earlier I maybe felt I missed the mark on the ideal selection as your notes outlined a real ever green / pine profile where as the mom to those f3 had more of a powder tang drink theme going on.

I do believe some real magic happened when that S2 Sorbetto met that random tux males pollen for the Sorbetto x Tux f1. The big beans, had such thick shells they didnt pop without intervention. Each side brought out the best - the sum of their parts equalled something I didn’t anticipate in the equation. I had 6 seeds left from that plant… I just popped them (had to physically crack their shells at day 3 in peroxide soak and they opened up). They grow with an unmatched vigour and maybe my heads are in the clouds, but I’ve become enamoured with the line.

I have dozens of Sorbetto tux plants going now from different generations and some various outcrosses… waiting for some space to up pot soon… hoping they can slow down a bit in the cups and trays I have them in now.

That’s awesome. I checked what you had sent me and I didn’t see that one. I’ll have to swap you some seeds for it sometime!

I going to try some of these out. Just growing one of each, but might bring up a male if I’m feeling inspired. The Kandahar Black is slightly different than the one in tux. It’s the bodhi Kandahar Black crossed to the USC, and tux is just USC.

I got a few PCK by way of @WVMountainGhost through @oleraynard. I think that one turns up some colors too. Last is skunk #1 from deadpanhead, which looked pretty good when he grew it!

@lefthandseeds Great to see you back Lefty, Hope life is treating you well. I’ve missed your threads. I’m getting ready to take a look at some Cherry Queen F2 you gifted me. Looking forward to your Black Lebanon x Black Afghan too.

Must feel good to finally be dipping some beans again.

Interested to see that Skunk #1, also seeing that Black K grown indoors will be something special.

Could always run a couple extra in solos and hope for a male. Keep him small and transportable.

:call_me_hand:

If you post photos later on - let me know. Would be super cool to have a peek into your garden later.

@WVMountainGhost @Soiltech thanks for the warm welcome. Happy to be throwing down some seeds.

Join up the party. Those are some good seeds, I’ll grow some Tux from @Soiltech and you can grow some from me

To my pleasant surprise, 3 of the Kandahar Black have popped already. The ones from USC were very stubborn, so that probably means the female was Bodhis. No sanding hulls this time.

Also two of the tux are popped, and one of the skunk, none of the pck yet. This is my simple seed raising setup these days. Bottom water on coco (royal tupur) in a shallow tray.

@lefthandseeds If none of the PCK crack let me know. I have some from CSI I’ll send you.

I’ve spent the last few years traveling around the country and I’m always trying to find great lemon varieties. Yours sounds great. Very nice write up. I would absolutely love a chance to try to run some.

Still early yet, and I’ve still got some tricks up my sleeve. Might sprinkle in some TM7 or a drop of fulhumix if they won’t go.

 Too good!

A handful of these green beans have got your name on them for sure - I may even still have an address.

I’ll be sure to get back to everyone here once we’ve got some ripe shucked beans.

:point_up:Here are some of the ladies - don’t mind the early thrips - photos were selected on small thumbnails and I’m not even sure whos who. Noticed some seeds starting to plump up now.

After abusing their sugar leaves and getting better acquainted. 5 of the 7 are super candidates - two are bang on what I’m looking for - that loud pink lemonade. There are another two which have great pink lemonade notes but not that sting your nose quality. The 5th is wild - real candy driven notes - beyond pink Lemonaid with that sting and some extra candy goodness to it.

My surprise for this line so far has been with the % of plants I’ve been happy with in each run.

I’ve got a dozen cuttings of the A1 vegging now - setting up for their flower only run - I’ve topped them only once and am super happy with the plants structure - it’s got the perfect stretch and it’s setup nicely for it.

I havnt even gotten to the lineage line up… Got some real striking Sorbetto Tux irriterations going which I will share soon. And @lefthandseeds and @WVMountainGhost feel free to share as much as you would like - I didn’t actually run any Tux beside this ‘lineage run’ and if will be a nice addition to see some of the parents further up the tree. :call_me_hand:

Took some photos in better light - here is a cut of the A1 pheno setting up for flower. Really happy with how’ she’s rolling as a cut - after 1 topping she’s the perfect structure.

Still battling thrips in both rooms. Going to go hard after flower finishes up next door. That will put everyone at a stand still for a bit - will let these ladies beast a bit in veg. :muscle:

Here’s what I got. 3 skunk #1, 3 Kandahar black, 1 good Tux (might get 3 but 2 are slow to come up) and 1 PCK struggling a bit after a long germination period. We’ll see how they fare in the next few weeks.
