BODHI Clusterfunk and SSDD

Maybe just chill on everything for a bit. I can’t even remember what the initial problem was haha! But are you actually seeing pests right now? Or are you just doing all of this as a preventative? If you’re not actually seeing mites/pests/etc, just ease back on the IPM for a couple three weeks.

When using neem I always run the bottle under hot water first. Then shake the shit out of it. I don’t use a wetting agent I use a tsp per gallon of sunlight dish soap instead.
unlike last year I also didn’t bring any aphids in with my cuts from my outdoor plants so I doubt I will see any pests this year. Well other then the usual few fungus gnats.

Thanks man, yeah Im no stranger to using neem. Just not sure how to proceed from here. I dont feel comfortable being complacent at this point. I dont want to let them take charge and overrun the grow. Havent gotten much input on moving forward, but I am considering either dunking them all, which will take forever or at least rinsing them off, the starting up with either the plant therapy or nubes recipe sans sulphur. Dunno, still have all the same questions I asked in my last post. I am heading over to the “other” tent today to water and get some more flower pics. I will post them later this afternoon.

Some pics from the “other” tent. Took these yesterday, day 30 of flower.
The 2 on the right are the clusterfunk, the ssdd is the one on the left.

Sunshine Daydream #3 - The farthest along of the three

Flower close up from the above plant.

The clusterfunks, the one on the right had grown into the led, I raised it about as high as it will go in the tent. The shorter one is farther along, really a beastly bushy thing. Id presume its the ghash dominate pheno, but not sure yet.

One more of the taller clusterfunk, presumably the more 91 Jb chem dominate ? The slowest to flower, I think she done stretching. Might be screwed if not, tent dont go any higher !

The shorter Clusterfunk pheno

Flower closeup from the above plant, less frosty than the ssdd, but still looking good.

Thanks to anyone that is still following !

Wow, those two CF’s are growing so differently from each other. The two times I grew it, they both looked a lot more like your short one. Barely scratched at all. I’m pretty curious to see more of that stretchy one as things progress. Anyway, it’s all looking good!

I am not really sure you will like my advice on moving forward lol Others may have better advice , but imho the best option is to shut it down , give it the most thorough cleaning possible , and leave it shutdown for a month or so. Then start back up with an IPM on a regular schedule .
I feel your pain man.

Dont like it, but I do appreciate the advice. Not ready to throw in the towel quite yet, since I was shut down for over 3 years before this grow, and they came right back. I want to at least try to flower a crop. I dont think I can eradicate them, but I do think I can keep them at bay enough to have successful flower crops. I guess we will see. If I am continually unsuccessful, I will reconsider.

Busy day planned for the garden. I am going to give all the plants in rockwool a dunk in the water bucket. Probably go for at least 30 minutes as prescribed by @JoeCrowe. Then I will be bringing the 8 of these that are female over to the “other” zone, where we now have a veg tent. Also planning on topping a couple of the faster plants (mostly Clusterfunks) and cleaning up the bottoms of most of these clones. Been almost 10 days since I gave them the sulphur/oil spray that burnt them. So I am also gonna spray them with fresh water today, and maybe the plant therapy again, either tonight or tomorrow. Today I also give my tent the weekly deep clean- I take everything out, plants and trays, clean the shit out of everything, walls, floors, fans, trays, cords with 99.9 iso diluted to 25 %

Some flower pics from the “other” tent. Snapped these yesterday, which was day 40 of flower. The SSDD is killing it ! Looks like its forming a giant cola. Fairly mild smell so far, kinda perfume like aroma with some blue notes. Impressed by the frost so far.

The short Clusterfunk pheno got placed on a pot so now is much closer to the light. The flower formation is way different than the tall pheno, which just keeps stretching. The short one has bubba looking nugs, a bit flat topped, with a crown appearance.

The stretchy pheno, this was the slowest to flower.

I know veg pics arent very exciting to most, but I will get a fresh pic of the clone generation that I have in veg.

I have been hitting them with the lost coast plant therapy pretty often and they look good. Lots of lush growth. I am going to hit them a few more times with the plant therapy, before switching back to the recipe @nube posted- sans sulphur.

Was hoping to flip this week, but might take a bit more time to work this ipm through.

Also I still dont have my veg tent reset back up, since my landlord is still finishing up with repairs in our bathroom. The entire ceiling is still wide open, so we are using the spare bathroom, which is where I normally keep the veg tent. Gotta figure something out asap though, I just got some clones from my buddy that is running my Chemper Fi seeds (Mota)

Looking pretty good in there. I bet it feels nice to be close to another harvest! Veg pics are exciting!

Glad to hear the clones survived. Hopefully a regular weekly IPM routine will keep you bug free in the future.

Thanks my friend ! The prospect of having a successful harvest is exciting for sure. I am hopeful that after another lost coast treatment or two I can switch to your recipe and cut back to once a week sprays.

So I ended up hitting my veg plants with the lost coast plant therapy 5 times in a 7 day period, with a 3 day consecutive spray at the end. There is a bunch of healthy growth. Its now been maybe 3 days since the last time I applied the spray. I was really wanting to hit them with @nube recipe asap, however when I checked on them yesterday I noticed a few plants had a bit of white mold on the soil surface. I used a spoon to scoop it off. Then I fired up a second circulation fan, and turned up ventilation fan. The temps still are hanging between 63-70 with the lights on and the rh is usually around the exact same range. I am planning on doing something to increase the intake flow. Probably switch out that charcoal filter on the intake for the cloth pot that @nube recommended. They definitely look like they could be flipped in the next week.

I find if you cover the top of the soil with something inorganic…ish that mold can’t grow on, you can kill it off. Like egg shells or sand. Usually if it dries out it dies as well. In the green house living soils the fungus is a good thing, it decomposes organic materials. Just make sure the relative humidity is like 40-60% quote unquote the government agriculture studies.

White mold on the soil? You mean like Santa’s beard? That’s not a bad thing.

Mold in any form, scares me. especially anywhere near my plants. I think they will be fine. Ive let them dry out pretty good, and I gave them a heavy defol yesterday.

Pic of the clones in veg before I did the defol

Heres what they looked like after. I went at them pretty hard. I am hoping that the lack of foliage will help my ipm sprays be more effective, as well as helping increase circulation. Hopefully I will get to hit them with @nube’s mix tonight

The bent leaves are usually the sign of broad mite damage (I think !).

Bummed to see this after hitting them 5 times in 7 days with the plant therapy. I am not sure if this damage is caused by current feeding or…Ive heard that when you kill them they inject all their poison into the plant at once. Im hoping that its from plant therapy kicking thier little asses, but Im always overly optimistic. Looking for some fresh lush growth before I flip

I always prefer a positive diagnosis by visually seeing the enemy. Once I can see their beady eyes, they are definitely real. You got some kind of magnification to look at them with?

I’ve not personally experienced broad mites (and hope that I don’t), but I’ve seen twisted leaves on new growth from IPM sprays and PH issues. I’m hoping this is the case here and you are free of those bastards!

Yeah, I agree. I think the twisted leaves are probably a result of hitting them with the Plant Therapy five times in seven days.

They don’t look bad at all, certainly better than expected. After the gloom and doom predictions here after you burned 'em, I thought you’d have to start over. So it’s nice to see healthy, green growth and no burnt stuff.

I’m with all the other folks - twisted leaves don’t necessarily mean anything’s amiss after such aggressive IPM routines. Also, I know you think otherwise, but russets cannot be diagnosed without microscopy. They cannot be diagnosed by symptoms alone. And if your temps are still super cold in there at and below canopy level, even if just at lights out, that could be the cause of the leaf twists.

I seriously don’t see any issues. Plants look fine. Time to hit the gas and grow some grass!
