I grew out a pack of Lemon Af over the summer. Was a bit disappointed to find the smell really didn’t translate over to taste much if any (as it turns out if I had bothered researching before popping the seeds I would have known this would likely be the case). Was thinking it might need to go towards edibles, but ended up rolling a rare joint yesterday and got a bit ripped off of it… smoked a few bowls of that earlier today and left me pretty set for awhile. Not flavorful, but potent enough.

I’ve seen four or five of Bodhi’s Metal Haze repro grown out, the ones he released like two summer’s ago. I think? (Time is a flat circle) Whenever it was that he released those seeds, anyway. They were planted pretty much immediately after the seeds arrived in the mail, right when they were released and before they sold out in like a day haha.
If I remember correctly, the grower wasn’t thrilled with them, although I’m not sure if the log was actually finished (in addition to time being a flat circle, my memory is shit haha). It was on a private site, otherwise I’d post the link for you. I do remember thinking,”Man, I’m glad I didn’t get those seeds…” I wasn’t interested in them anyway (grabbed the Zap seeds instead), so it wasn’t any big deal to me.
Having said that, if I’m interested in something, I don’t give a shit how many grow logs I read where the people growing whatever mentions their disappointment. I’m gonna grow what I’m interested in, opinions be damned! haha. You should plant them, @the_bot. I could see the Dragon Energy male possibly “improving” the Metal Haze. And anyway, so-called “improvements” are in the eye of the beholder.

From what I’ve heard about old hazes in general I reckoned it would take some digging to find a decent plant in the Metal Haze, like 1 out of 20 is great, and the other 19 are variations on some kind of blah or at best meh. Maybe that’s not right though, I dunno.

I mean, sometimes Hazes are “deep hunt material,” but from everything I’ve read about Metal Haze, it’s supposed to be a relatively consistent line, no digging necessary, no need to grow out 20 plants to find one good one, which is why I was surprised that that grower who’s log I was following was unhappy with the plants (and judging from the pics, I probably wouldn’t have been too happy with them, either). But again, fuck the grow logs haha. Plant those seeds!

Yeah, I remember him expounding on the joys of Metal Haze in Skunk, too. I suspect that his cannabinoid receptors are a little different than mine, though haha, which is one of the reasons why I wasn’t very interested in those Metal Haze seeds that B released. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love “Sativas,” but something about the available info re: Metal Haze just made me a little, uh… leery haha.

I’m holding a pack of the Metal Haze, and I really wish I would have grabbed the Zap as well…alas, could only afford one at the time.

I just harvested one metal haze and have another pheno still flowering. It’s not 100% sativa from the two phenos I have had. I’m already smoking the early one, it’s somewhat energetic but will induce sleep after a few hits. It was short and stocky with semi spongy buds. The more sativa one is stretchy at least 2x, Christmas tree type structure. It does a weird thing where each bud is like a Christmas tree. The stem is purpling as well. I reckon it needs 2 more weeks

How was the Strawberry Milk on it’s own? Those were only released from Bodhi as F2s right?
I recently bought a pack from a fellow Overgrow member as an Impulse buy… I have a few Strawberry Milk crosses now… some I have doubles of as I thought they’d be really good… Kodama was excellent. My buddy ran it a few times.

I ran Strawberry Goji (Goji OG x Strawberry Milk) a few times. It was nice flower that was mostly an OG profile. Average yield with nice golf ball sized nugs. The thing that stood out most about Strawberry Goji was the rosin press yield, which was around 24%, best that I’ve had personally. If you like to squish you might want to try this one.
