Was Bodhi a grower on OG at some point? I see so many growing his strains and was curious about the popularity. I’ve got some seeds of his i can pop and plan to do so at some point.

I do find it interesting how we experience the Lav Jack so differently. I have personally given samples of my own grow of the NN Lav Jack to other people, most reported positive effects, very few negative comments came back on that one, even from other growers, and not just smokers.
Recently, I met up with my old neighbor that i had given some to and he reported that it was his favorite weed he’s ever smoked… what?! In fact, he asked me for a cutting of it, for his first grow, so it did inspire him to start growing, which I thought was pretty neat.
I just finished the last bit of my jar, I personally really like it for daytime weed, as I don’t experience any sort of come down from it at all. The effect seemed to almost intensify with age, but that’s something that i can’t prove. I get a nice mood and mental lift from it, but it’s not super intense, despite looking very frosty.
We are all different, and I’m not discounting Syzygy’s experience. I think it’s important to look at reports on effects with an open mind, not using them as ultimate truths, but as a realm of possibilities… I smoke weed all the time that is supposed to “knock me out”, but I end up staying up way past my bedtime… usually thinking about growing more weed, heh heh!

I would love to try your NN LJ, that sounds amazing. I myself, try to discover strains and phenotypes that give me a mental uplift. I struggle pretty bad with depression, it’s more like episodes of severe impending doom, like I’m alone and failing. I often find myself feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Some days I don’t even want to answer my phone even when my own mother calls. It’s a terrible feeling I wouldn’t wish on my enemies. Recently however, my phone home #3 pheno I just harvested seems to help calm those feelings of desolation. I notice a difference and my wife does too. If I could find something even 2 times better in effect, I would literally be a happy man. I know everyones experience is different with these cultivars, but the uplift in mood and the ability to erase mental torment even for a little bit would really grease my hinges.

My heart breaks for you. Have you tried any Goji OG crosses?
My personal Mommy Magic cross made from Goji OG x (Dynasty’s) Caramel Candy Kush is my everyday feel better medicine. I can be arguing with my spouse, fighting with my kids, etc. Mommy Magic always makes everything better. The perfect amount of stress-melting, chatty, clear-headed high, yet deep thinking, with a good dose of, “I can’t remember why I was sad. Who fucking cares.” It’s very UP mood effects, but I can still cook dinner (if you don’t talk to me at the same time!).

Thank you @RebelliousHeart, you have a beautiful spirit and I’m sure you’re a superhero mom! I haven’t ran any yet, I did finally get some Goji OG F2s recently in a trade with an awesome compassionate human and one of my favorite Canadians of all time @Barefrog. I give up all of my garden space for plants that help my mom and wife 90% of the year, but when I get a chance I’ll throw a Bubba or Bubba cross in there for myself. I find Bubba or atleast Katsu’s pre 98 bubba really gives me a great feeling and seems to push me in the right direction mentally almost all of the time. It doesn’t make me feel tired or sleepy and puts my mind at ease. I won’t take pharmaceuticals or even entertain the idea of starting for my mental health, I choose earth medicine over almost everything.

Earth Medicine, I like that! I am the same. I hope those Goji F2s churn something special out for you. I’ve read mixed reviews on them. If you can’t find any magic in those seeds let me know.
I can’t say how Mommy Magic would perform indoors, but Caramel Candy Kush is: pre98 OG Bubba x Ms.Universe. I always assumed much of the “magic” was derived from Goji OG, but maybe I am underestimating the Bubba influence. This is why I come here to learn more about the genetics.
At some point, I would love to put a few seeds in someone’s experienced hands. Someone who has grown quality and can say this is legitimately special, or special just to RebelliousHeart. I am content to be the only one who loves it, but sometimes I wonder if it could be good mental medicine for others too. Currently trying to see if I can grow some Bodhi that knocks it off it’s pedestal.

I think we’re in the same age bracket, and likewise on feeling more social because of this place! Otherwise I go through periods where I’m fairly withdrawn in person
Trying to get back into this mode for myself
It’s one reason why I’ve got these SSDD clones going, I’ve heard it makes good medicine for what I’m seeking 
Also excited to try Katsu’s Pre-98 Bubba when the time is right, and Bodhi’s Sakura (Katsu Bubba x Wookie)

@emeraldbullfrog I’m really just trying to get more experience with different strains to have something to compare Mommy Magic to.
I smoked as a teen when everything was chronic or bunk, no pretty names that I can recall. Dispensary stuff I have tried is generally all the same to me. I feel woefully inexperienced in comparing one strain to another, just because I haven’t grown or smoked too many different things.

I also was successful in getting both Menehune and Higher Education in the latest drop. Those are exciting.

Technically I was a teenager when I first smoked at 18, in college. We never had any strains with well known names. Even to call it “mids” would incorrectly imply that we had anything better by comparison 
Most of the time we had “[home] town brown” (probably imported Mexican brick weed), and then “gas” or “fire” if the dealer had something better than usual
Dispensary stuff has been hit or miss for me. After a few years I’ve noticed that the companies who really care about how their flower is cured are usually the companies whose flower is worth buying. Luckily the few Bodhi strains I’ve been fortunate to buy from the dispo have been made by cultivators who care more than most
Our tastes overlap quite a bit! All of these are in the lineup for the next year or two
And awesome on you for getting both of those Supernatural Selections from the latest drop! Those both sound really awesome

I’m planning a repro of dla 9 next (kush4x hp). Hopefully there will be plenty of seeds for people that might want them. Took me a while to track it down since it’s been out of stock, but can’t say I have any prior experience with it, just looked like my ideal bud in the pictures.
Unrelated note, does anyone know if bodhi made a cali-o x HP cross? I got ~half a pack of that a while back, and thought it was his work, but couldn’t find any info anywhere.

Hello, I also grew out Cherry Queen 
That said I first grew out 5 seeds and got 4 males and only one female. I didn’t keep any of those males that grow. I quite enjoyed the potency and would give it a solid 7.5- in that department. It was excellent after a long day to kinda unwind and relax but not tiring or sleepy where you couldn’t get things done or in my case hang out with the kids. It didn’t impede my sleep at all and was relaxing that once you were tired and wanted to sleep it was easy as well. It was one of my first empty jars. I then ran the remaining seeds and again got like 4 males and only 1 lady. I used her for seed mainly, only keeping the top crown un seeded. Both females from my pack were similar in structure with nice dense buds that were very well formed, ready in like 8-9 weeks with some lemon, pine, hashy herbal earthy and feminine, not like in your face lemon pine soul type stuff. The flavor was similar and stayed on the lips/tongue for a great of 10 minutes
I just took these photos. This is little baby Cherry Queen f2s. I had moved my seeds from a bag to small glass jar and when it was full I gifted some and the last 5-6 I just threw all together in this small pot at least 5 germinated but I got rid of some, only keeping these 2 as the fastest growing. Wasn’t necessarily looking to grow them but just check that seeds were viable.

Thanks for the offer. I will have to look into those. I’m not too familiar with the Supernatural Selections. I only just really started to look into them. I see a few nice OMG crosses and would love something with the Vietnamese 7 in there.
It looks like T.V. was possibly released more than once? Are most Supernatural Selections one and done, or are restocks possible in this line? Obviously OMG dad is gone, so those are done.

That is an excellent question and curious if @CocoaCoir @BudWhisperer @IgrowBodhiandCSI would known if the super natural lines are a one and done type deal. I personally haven’t seen Bodhi make many F2s of his work. The only one I know of which is in my collection in Strawberry Milk F2.

They have always been very limited as far as I can remember. Sometimes he does work lines multiple times like purple unicorn. Also some of these SS are more like remixes of previous attempts. He also does stuff like takes those best SS that make it and then put those on other things but that doesn’t usually happen.
Example would be SS004 Congo x Kashmir which now has been given to Cookies and distributed in lil ice cream containers. Also combined with all his males for some reportedly really good daytime stuff.
I know he doesn’t like to dwell on stuff so if he used something for a long time then there must be a really good reason. He’s been working that A1 for instance for atleast 8-10 years now. He has also said that his favorite sativa was the Vietnamese #7.
Oh and the TV was released at Dagga Gardens multiple times and then also at GLG but that is one of those breeder only type strains like a1 x kashmir so it could be different from other SS stuff.

Historically it’s one and done but some earlier DLA releases seem to restock.

Not sure what “one and done” is strictly referring to (restocking? V2? F2?) but I’ve seen supernatural selections get restock multiple times, specially Dreadbread, that’s how I got the pack a long time after it had been originally released. And tv is medicine mountain… not sure how many mm releases there have been.
