Bodhi Guide - Seed and Strain Discussion (Part 2)

They are definitely dense! I thought I’d only get a few bowls off that tester nug.

This is definitely the best weed I’ve ever grown. Granted that’s only like 9 strains.

Razzberry hashplant was excellent man, top shelf in my book, best stuff I’ve grown to date.

Strong sour berry smell, sour berry taste. Very potent, to the point it can get a little uncomfortable. Uplifting, psychedelic to some degree, slow motion vision, brighter sense perception, etc. It’s definitely got a little “extra” to it in the buzz department. No sleepiness or couchlock.

For what it’s worth I just bought a couple more bodhi packs from glg during the sale, and I grabbed 2 more packs of Razzberry Hashplant as my freebies.

I suppose we shouldn’t be suprised. A Goji f2 hand selected by Bhodi and crossed with 88g13hp. Probably criminally slept on, but this stuff is all subjective.

I think you hit that sweet spot that I try to aim for. I prefer not to have hardly any amber trichomes if I can make that happen. Definitely prefer the upper euphoric cultivars over than being a wet noodle on the couch

I just got my pack in today and love how this looks! Thank you for posting this. Reminds me of some Gelato 41 I grew as my first cannabis plant.

Most of the buds are still flowering I just wanted to try it at day 56. This is my second time growing this cross. The first time I took it at 69 days and that was a nice blend of high euphoria and comfortable narcotic. I think I’m going to take these at 77 days this time as I really want something for the end of the night. We will see though as they are looking very hungry right now.

Pics from my first run:

And from my current run:

I have that gelato x ‘88g13hp cross! I’m excited to do a proper run but I’ve got a lot I want to do before that :grimacing:

If you want that uplifting energetic high I’d say take it at 56-63 days. I couldn’t sleep the two nights I tried it around 8pm.

The sun is down. The moon is full. The hunter is out hunting, and it is a sign of the times. My pack is going in. Thanks to all involved. May the 4 directions bless the offering. Let the smoke rise.

This and another comment recently (asking why Bodhi does such limited drops of Supernatural Selections) were on my mind last night when I finished up replaying the Pot Cast Episode 10 with Bodhi. ALLL the way at the end, approx 02hr16m in, Bodhi talks about the landraces and how they often “freak out” indoors. It is maybe two minutes out of the last 5 minutes on the podcast. It’s such insightful information that I recommend people go back and re-listen.

Bodhi says that he finds the landraces to be very hermaphroditic indoors and that is why it is so hard for him to make the Supernatural Selections, and why they are limited. He also explains how an unstable landrace plant can be run 4-5x so it can adapt to it’s new environment, and have a chance to outgrow any herm issues. It reminds me of that claim how veggie seeds will adapt to your environment after seed-saving from plants grown in your zone.

Wanted to share, because I see lots of good genetics being written off due to herms indoors.

This makes a lot of sense to me

Endo has a Bodhi repro of Zipolite Oaxacan for sale at JBC. The listing has this book recommendation at the end:

THE FOLLOWING BOOK IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE NOT FAMILIAR WITH LANDRACE GENETICS (A PDF IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE AVAILABLE ON LINE):
“MARIJUANA BOTANY. AN ADVANCED STUDY: THE PROPIGATION AND BREEDING OF DISTINCTIVE CANNABIS” BY ROBERT CONNELL CLARKE

I wonder if the book goes into more detail on this topic

Someone may have mentioned this already, but FWIW GLG has a whole bunch more Bodhi freebies up on their BOGO deal than when I looked last week or so. Mostly Lavender Lemonade hybrids plus a few others like El Wook.

I got a puck full of those Zipolite Oaxacan from JBC when I made a big Bodhi order recently. Think I got 25 of them or something crazy as a freebie, pretty gnarly.

I got those babies as a freebie recently myself, plus I’ve had the F1 Zipolite Oaxacan from Bodhi in my vault for a bit, might pop a couple outside for fun

Bit of a longshot but does anyone have any sense of when Bodhi reproduced his Nepali trip seeds for the Nierika releases?

ETA: Never mind, found an old IG post from May 2019 that said the seeds in question had been reproduced and packaged up.

I assume that includes the Upper Chuile Annapurna? Hoping to get to that pack next year.

Yes!

No idea why the post I found was from Greek IG. By hovering over the “285 EB5” part it showed a date.
