I received Cherry Pie Kush x 88g13hp. Has anyone grown that?

I was seeing if they were facing herms from their female plants or if the balls were due to 2 out of x many were male plants while the others are unsexed yet. Just popped 3 mothers HP and hoping for the best.

I did. Grows like cookie hybrids but more of a grape gas flavor and smell. Honestly loved the one plant and can’t wait to pop the rest.

I got this pack as a freebie with a seed order I made recently, I had no idea this existed. Can anyone shed some light or information on this particular cross? Sure appreciate it and appreciate you all.

Anyone got Bodhi’s Yunnan Cangshan Mountain Sativa c#6.?

Yes I have been growing the cangshan from clone since 2021. It’s an outdoor plant which I overwinter indoor in veg. Very rich in trace cannabinoids, low thc, mid cbd, but surprisingly high potency. with a unique funky dried seaweed and black tea smell. psychedelic sativa.

grows EXTREMELY tall. Do not grow this if stealth or height constraints are an issue. Needs a lot of root space, like a hundred gallon pot to go a full season.

Also, if the pot was any smaller, they would tip over because of the height. they can handle harsh weather and high winds, they just bend like bamboo.

finishes in early to mid november and can tolerate rain and cold weather. Amazing outdoor line.

In my experience if you put it outdoor and ignore it aside from watering, it will thrive.

but it is not an easy plant to grow or care for. It can’t tolerate nutrients. It can’t tolerate nutrient rich mulch. It burns very easily.

Bodhi said this line is outdoor only. I’ve been able to keep my mothers indoor. But he’s right, it’s not easy and cannot handle standard treatment, and will not finish indoors.

It can’t tolerate LED lights, especially purple leds. It can only handle fluorescent full spectrum lighting. It can handle full spectrum light emmitting ceramic but not too close to the light source. If it gets light burn, that causes it to stretch aggressively which makes it even more difficult to keep indoor.

the cangshan produce mostly very large coffin shaped seeds, and a few tiny perfectly round ones.

if anybody has the cangshan neirika seed pack, or my cangshan f2, grow it out as soon as possible.

these seeds do not keep, no matter how they are stored. room temp, fridge, freezer, 3 years seems to be the threshold before a rapid drop off in the germ rates.

I’m trying to preserve it again this year.

bodhi spent several months traveling china and collecting seeds. for some reason, chinese cannabis seeds have very low viability. out of all the stock he collected, over 20 lines I think, cangshan was the only one that germinated for him.

I have had a pretty hard time germinating cangshan seeds the entire time I’ve been working with it.

If anyone’s holding my f2, pop them or maybe consider trading them to someone who will grow them out or preserve them.

This is a very unique plant and very special meds, but it literally has to be kept alive to preserve it or the line will be lost to its own poor germination traits.

I’d like to cross is with some Afghan kushes

I think that kind of cross has a lot of potential and I have been working on some crosses along those lines.

I’ve crossed it with a lot of indicas, including some og kush type plants like obama kush, and a (goji og x larry og x grandaddy purple)

For classic afghani kush, I have only crossed it to an afghani hybrids

isp 91 dragons (70’s lanai hawaiian x chinese broadleaf) x (chem x 1970s hash deal afghani)

and I crossed it to bodhi’s ethiopian x old mother afghani.

I haven’t grown out the hybrids yet though. still working with one of the chinese mothers.

One of the other hybrids I’m really excited about is with archive’s ommp blueberry clone (they call it ā€œold oregon medical marijuana program blueberryā€)

Ok left you a message

sorry, I’m disabled and won’t be able to send anything out soon. I can’t make trips to the post office without assistance.

but when I can I would love to send you some of these hybrids to test. So I will keep you in mind and get back in touch when I can make that happen.

I make these hybrids for my meds combining the lines that work for my medical needs.

also, you could ask in the trading post or the landrace trading thread. I did send out a bunch of pure cangshan seeds in early 2023. So you might find someone who has those who can get them to you quicker.

Im not sure if I can post without getting immediately banned/posts deleted, but here goes nothin lol

OM4 for me came out real scraggly ghani single cola plants, smelled like straight fuel. Really strong aroma and solid full body buzz. What I found super interesting was I ran them next to some ā€œdieselā€ seeds given to me by an old San Diego grower almost 10 years ago that said they all get it from Mexican bagseed in the 90s, and they were damn near identical in every way.

Well I always appreciate and value your input @BackyardBoogie420 thank you

I don’t care what anyone says, that was good genetics in those bricks, just poorly handled and seeded. Almost all I grew for years. :v:

Mine didn’t auto flower but I also flipped it pretty early. After flip it barely stretched at all so it is definitely the tiniest plant I’ve got flowering currently.
