So, how much of a pain is it to scrape the wax off the parchment paper? I keep thinking about getting a press, but it seems like a lot of work to collect into containers.

I use a pocket knife and its cake work, takes 1-2 minutes depending on the stickyness of the rosin.

I tried picking up some ā€œdab toolsā€ for it and it was just a pain to use those. Usually end up smearing it all over the parchment instead of picking it up. Something about the pocket knife I have just works and itā€™s easy to wipe off back on the parchment paper afterwards and then cleanup the residual and shove it all in a container.

That doesnā€™t sound terrible to do and I probably wouldnā€™t do often. Maybe press every few months. Even with easy access to concentrates, Iā€™d like to think Iā€™d be using them sparingly, my tolerance is bad enough from flower, I donā€™t want to think about what Iā€™d be like dabbing daily.

Keeping this related, @grohio, those Space Monkeys look great, mouthwatering.

Use the taciness of the dab to your advantage. Start with a clump of dab on a dab tool. Pick the rosin up off the parchment with the dab tool in a rolling type motion. The dab will lift off the parchment onto your dab tool. Im learning this technique in real time as we speak. Lol

@khaoohs thanks bro. I hope it smokes as good as it looks and smells.

@nefrella. I love my volcano. The bags are super awesome when your hanging with friends. And, By myself i like turning the temp clear up and getting big ass clouds. Me and my brother call it a bong in a bag when we crank the temp clear up. The low temp bags are super enjoyable and easy on the lungs though.

Im finding the parchment paper is way tougher then i thought and i was trying to be too gentle with my scraping. The dabbing it up with a dab tool seems to be working quite well but kinda slow. Think the next parchment i might try scraping across it with a singe edged razor blade.

Iā€™ve currently got mine cranked at 9 @Grohio bwuahahaha.

Not sure about how vape works when I canā€™t see the smoke lol. Still need to do some research

@Grohio how many balloons do you fill per bowl?

Lower temps i do 2 bags. High temps i usually only do one as the second one will taste like shit.

I guess i should take some live plant pics later tonight to post just to keep this a grow journal. Lol. Gonna go check on the Heavenly Hashplants at my buddys house monday and take cuts of all of them. Based on last time i seen them they should be ready for flower and should be showing sex anyday now.

SMDH. This popped up all of sudden. Ever since i went to 65 watt quantum boards for my seedlings ive been having what i suspect to be cal/mag issues. Im ready to go back to t5s. Im now up to 7.5ml per gallon of blue planet nutrients cal/mag. Im thinking i might try a different brand or in barking up the wrong tree deficiency wise. I MISS MY T5. lol

Getting back into growing I picked up some used bad boys for cheap to get me going on a veg tent. Iā€™m glad to hear they will work well and probably be forgiving. Iā€™ve noticed the leds can be touchy to get dialed in just right.

I prefer t5s for seedlings and cuttings.

I would think its more Zinc or Iron related? Maybe PH? I usually get taco leaves first thing if its mag deficient under the qbā€™s. They definitely drive the plants a lot harder. Had this if you need itā€¦

Was it you who recommended that Yocan to me? I like it, too. Took me a minute to figure it out, but itā€™s working like a champ now. Thanks for that link for the 100 bucks off the Peak, too, @Grohio. I maayyyyyybeeee might buy one now, I dunno. Been really trying to reign in my spending latelyā€¦

I have never used LED so canā€™t speak on that , but from your pic it looks like more of a lockout issue then just a deficiency.
But again I have zero experience with those types of lights other then what I have read.
