Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 1)

mmm :drooling_face::drooling_face: that Hollyweed looks so tasty. Just the looks of the bud makes me wanna grow it, can’t really find it anymore though.

Its my favorite smoke i have ever grown. Dont plan on losing the mom anytime soon. I still have a few seeds of it to play around with later.

Hollywood pure kush which i have heard it referred to as topanga as well. Im not sure if the LA and the Hollywood are the same cut or not.

My homie just sent me some snips of the Topanga Canyon OG (Hollywood Pure Kush). The leaves look unique as fuck. I am really intrigued by them. Hopefully I get them to root. I have them quarantined at a whole different location than my operation. Positive vibes…

I’d assume that they’re different, just because they’re two entirely different countries.

Topanga is NOT Hollywood Pure Kush. We squared away this debate with definitive word from @Strayfox in the Pura Vida Preservation run thread:

Also, it’s confirmed on Breedbay that the LA Pure Kush = Hollywood Pure Kush when bodhi and stray use it. Different names for the same cut.

Also @Grohio where’s your smoke report on the Hollyweed? I got a pack waiting for a preservation run, but since it’s using the 88g13hp daddy, it could be recreated or re-released at any time.

Anybody has any information on Bodhi’s Mango Lotus ?
I grabbed a pack awhile back, but I have zero idea what tf it is. A lot of Bodhi’s shit has little information about lineage. I bookmarked somewhere in this thread a lot of strain details, but nothing on Mango Lotus.

Every cut bodhi’s ever used (until the last year or two) has been discussed at Breedbay.org  This is no different. Just go there and use the search function, and look for posts by bodhiseeds. It’s Mango Biche x Snow Lotus. Here’s the relevant post you’re looking for info on the Mango Biche he uses:

Hope that helps!

I was just going off what im almost positive i remember bodhi saying on the adam dunn show. Does bodhi not use a HPK cut and LAPK cut both? Im pretty sure i have seen crosses by bodhi labelled as both.

The hollyweed grows like most other hashplant hybrids i have grown from bodhi. Thats only a few though. I ran it 3 times now. Not real loud in the smell department. I would call it lemony and creamy in flower. I have not been able to keep that smell through cure. It has not much pleasing going on in the smell department once cured. But, it taste very much like 7up or sprite pop. Very good potent high. Very well rounded. Numbs the body and lifts the mind. Makes me very happy and carefree. It grows nice hard medium sized colas. And plenty of them. Pretty good yielder. I wish i could get the smell in flower to stay. Its a 9/10 in my book though.

it’s different. his colombian red is likely a select punto rojo. they are similar though… colombian reds are a bit more head, and panamas can have a bit more of a narcotic high… very similar though. both can have more diversity in cannabinoids, which can contribute to more delayed and more “trippy” highs.

just had to share this absolute stud of a pu x milk. huge growth, excellent node spacing, minimum feeding, stinky nasty rub, purple tones, throwing off nice balls early compared to my other male.

Got four growing right now, 30 days into veg. They are extremely vigorous, the most vigorous plants in the tent by far. I’m gonna transplant on January 1 and start my log here then. I’ll tag you if you’re interested.

A guy on another board who’s journal I follow ran it outdoors this summer in Northern California, they were massive stretchers that went into November and I believe he said could have gone longer, but the weather had already been pretty tough down the home stretch. They looked nice, I don’t remember if I saw a smoke report. I’ve got a pack in my collection, but I’m not ready to wrestle with that potential stretch just yet. I would expect tall, long flowing plants that have a psychedelic space journey high.

Well, looks like I’ll have to wait as well. I ain’t got the space for tall stretchy plants. I’ll try em outside in April.
Thanks for the heads up

Yeah there’s 3 separate people on RIU that mentioned that they were running Mango Lotus this year in the bodhi thread. Zero smoke reports. Hate it when people do that. But about a month ago, one of them said, “The scarlet ones are killer,” so you might message them and ask for deets.

Get ready when you run them, cuz the packs say for “Sativa Lovers” lol!
