My JBC pack was lost in space this last drop as well. Usps is a mess right now and this was the first time it took a week plus to arrive . Was a little worried but they showed up eventually

Anybody ever try Bodhis mendo sunshine? Never personally tried the sunshine daydream (hopefully I have a trade lined up to get some) but I just got my hands on an unopened pack of mendo sunshine and was wondering about the consensus on this particular strain?
Side note, Mr. bodhi seems like a nice and excellent guy. Emailed him and he responded in like an hour.

I tested it for him two years ago. Four or five females, all of them easily the lowest-yielding plants I’ve ever grown. Like, so bad I told him not to release it. He said he’d use them for freebies. I dunno if he switched up anything before they got released or what.
The smoke was good, not great. Also the quickest-finishing plants I’ve ever grown. All of them were done between 42 and 49 days.

Sounds good. I’ve tested I think three or four other strains for Bodhi and all of them turned out really good, told him they should all be released (I don’t think any of them have been yet). The Mendo/SSDD is the only one I’ve ever discouraged him from releasing, but he released those, so… Clearly, he isn’t listening to me haha!
How many plants did you grow?

I’m afraid it’s sold out now. Don’t think there were many packs available. I always make a handful of F2’s for each pack and will try my best to make more for this one. I’ve been hunting a Vietnamese ringer since it was my first real eye opening experience with cannabis.

I grew a couple Acapulco gold’s. Pretty similar structure. I started them on 14/10 for 3 weeks I think. Flipped them to 12/12 for another couple weeks then 11/13 until finish which was around 13 weeks for me. They were fun to grow for me because they are completely different from anything else I’ve seen in person. Ran in 2 gallon soil and still ended up being about 5 feet tall, but really were manageable I think as long as you account for their height and width (I had them around other stuff and they are so lanky it doesn’t crowd too much). They are still curing, but I’ve tried them. I think they are worth running if you want the experience of something different. To me that was the fun and why they are special. If you are not wanting something that takes extra work, or are looking for an end product that has bag appeal or even looks like modern bud they are probably a pass.
