Bodhi Plant Guide

Why, does that offend you or something? I have no reason to share anything but my anecdotal experience, no need to get your panties in a twist. I pop at least 1000 seeds a year, and see a herm maybe once every 2-3 years. And usually just a nanner, not busting full on balls. Thats with light leaks, no AC or anything. I just dont push the plants with heavy feeding.

Did i sound offended?

I push them with heavy feeding and everything else stressful imaginable. The plants that actually make it to flower for me rarely have herm tendencies. I tend to believe that more resilient plants will have a lower tendency to herm :man_shrugging:

Anyway, bodhi plants… DBHP that’ll me making some F3 and hybrids

Ya, I don’t think is was my environment on this run coz none of the other 12 plants in my tent Hermed at all. I’ve got limited experience with Bodhi. I’ve only run SSDD, road kill unicorn V2, sky lotus and secret chief with no issues untill now obviously……Maybe my soil was too hot for this particular plant :person_shrugging:. I have noticed in the past that most the herms I’ve come across ( other than gmo x rootbeer ) where found on seedlings. And if I did run the clone again. The herm issue was gone. But like I mentioned earlier there was a lot of nanner clusters. I’m actually surprised I didn’t see any. Guess that’s part of the joys of tent growing. It’s hard to get a good look at everything. Especially if you tend to fill up the whole space like I do.

I’m still gonna run Bodhi gear in the future though…….if I gotta deal with a bit nanners along the way to finding a keeper so be it

Didn’t know I’ve been demonizing Bodhi having grown his seeds almost exclusively for 10 years now. Also have logged my grows here since joining, and posted plenty of positive reviews of the strains I’ve grown. Always provide full transparency of issues and stresses on the plants and have given away 6~ coin flip boxes full of fgens to users here. Even added disclaimers to my post it could just be I’m not as good of a grower as the people who pretend to grow 1000s of seeds per year. Apologies for offending by chiming in with similar experiences to someone else in here.

Anyways, I don’t have any leaf pictures but I did pop by to post some flower shots.

DLA 11 (vintage pakistani x 88g13hp). Just so diferent to the other more “modern” strains, i have growing. Maybe it completly psychlogical on my part, but she just smells “vintage”. Like ya grand dads colonge. About 4 weeks into flower.

Zap at 65 days flower. I really like this plant - it looks super cool, especially after turning dark purple. If it didnt insist on throwing viable nanners all thru flower id be considering reveg to flower it larger. Its starting to look closer to done, thinking week 11 harvest if I can make it that long.

My comment on demonizing wasn’t directed at you in any way. Referring to those that go around slamming a breeder because they got some herms in a pack :v:

Brought some Nepali Watermrlon hash plant x everything out last night. Tastes great with a very balanced pleasant high. Not very potent but very pleasant. Pool hall, muskmelon/watermelon, and dusty dirt terps. It also has some nice soft melony chocolatey smoke.

Last picture was the less foxtailed sister that went 12 weeks or so. I took the landrace looking plant around 120 days I can’t remember.

Any chance you’ll be f2ing or keeping cuts? I’d love a chance to run that one!

No for F2. I only had half a pack (gave the other half away) and ended up with only 3 females plus I didn’t plan any pollen chucking this run.
I don’t want to have any clones in the house, but every time I go in the tent I say I should take a cut. So I’m going to take a couple snips today, no promises though. My other tent isn’t the best for winter, so we’ll see if they can make it.

I’d be totally fine with unrooted cuts too! Let me know! Excited to see how they come out!
