The male plants are looking great! Should be a fun time the next few weeks. Favorite is to turn off the fans and lights. Wait a few minutes, put on a green light and whack the stems of the males and watch the pollen just explode.
Happy seed making and thank you for doing the repro. It’s a lot more work than people think!!

Thanks it is a little more work than people realize especially when you’re growing perpetually in the same room with hopes of harvesting seedless bud along with a seed repro it gets a little tricky. Plus I’m severely allergic to pollen I just had to order some masks to wear while I water them the next couple weeks until I can get rid of the males. But the results in the end are definitely worth it

I suffer from grass pollen but the cannabis pollen didn’t seem to have the same effect on me.
Glad you got yourself some good protection, always good to have around during a breeding session… or not.
Can’t wait to see how they come out! Thanks again for the undertaking.

I’m allergic to nearly all things, except cannabis pollen

Wish I could get allergy shots for it. Imagine asking the allergist to formulate something for cannabis pollen

I might be overreacting I’m allergic to cats and have a cat so it might just be the cat dander getting to me and my brain is telling me it’s the pollen since I started to have issues after watering them last night

If you are in a legal or medical state. Say “asking for a friend”.
I figure anything generic over the counter for seasonal (pollen etc) allegies would work. Allertec or whatever Costco or the pharmacy carries.

I take a pill in the morning and a nasal spray twice a day which usually helps. Honestly I don’t even think the males dropped any pollen yet I’m most likely just a neurotic nut case Bw but I guess if we were all normal the world would be a boring place

Around day 18
Not sure if this will make a difference but I put the males towards the front left of the tent and put the females behind the males in the back then positioned the oscillating fan on low in front of the males.

Day 23 the males are starting to dump pollen. I noticed a little on some leaves a few days ago and this morning I looked in the tent and noticed a lot more. If you zoom in you can see the tallest male that had to be bent over, also got some crispy leaves was pretty close to the light.

Sprayed the tent down once this morning. Gonna spray them a few more times this afternoon then cull the males tonight. I’ll have some pics of the 7 female plants later on. A few of them are developing purple buds already so I’ll be sure to take some pics later when the tent is cleaned out
