Nice! Hope you get that PCF 3 sooner than later. I got some of his gear going right now. I have his Uptown Black (Uptown/Brown Haze clone x Cuban Black Haze) and Black Haze S1’s (Cuban Black Haze x Cuban Black Haze) got two of each going.
I didn’t realize the Black A5 Piff was regular seeds. Where did you get them? Are you going to keep any males? F2’s would probably reveal some really nice phenos out of those beans.
I was lucky and found a pack of top dawg Black A5 Piff online. I only popped 3 so far and will most likely be hunting males when I run the rest of the beans.
I guess there was limited supply, they seem to be sold out everywhere. If you have the room and time to keep males I think they would make some good crosses. I could only imagine what you might find if you crossed some of those males to the PCF 3 cut. I guess that would be more of a backcross. The PCF 3 is a more refined version of Piffcoast’s Piff S2? I see people rocking that cut and his Piff S1.
Looking good. I ran Brothers Grimm newer version of Cinderella 99, I think at the time they hadn’t released the Cinderella XX yet. They were alright nothing like the original release, the Purple Urkle x P75 freebies I got from them actually turned out better. I kept one around for a few years, very nice smoke.
I transplanted and reorganized my closet and veg tent last night. I’m going to use the closet for early veg and the tent for late veg. Now I’m just praying for females.
LSD, Black A5 Piff, and Rosetta Stone all around the 5 week mark. The piff will go into flower next weekend
Nice setup. Love the seed selection. I’ve grown an ibl Cindy from Cali, that was amazing. Saw a tie dye in one of your pictures. Thought you’d appreciate this. Let me know if I should remove.
Hey man, just popped in. Loving the pictures you are sharing of your garden. Your setup is very nice looking. Love how premium and clean you keep it! Plants of course look very healthy as well! Keep it up.
I know his work. He’s relentless. He spent the cash, bought all the tutorials or learned from the artists who’s styles you see mashed up in his pieces. (Timofey Marylof, Pushing Rainbows, Rob Norwood, the Kenny’s, and me, Slipknot Tie Dyes.)
I don’t make tapestries much anymore, but here’s one from about 6 or 7 years back. To put a little context to it, tie dye wasn’t trendy or very popular, 7 years ago. Our online presence along with the resurgence of Phish and then Dead & Co in 2016 was what brought popularity to the art, which made pathways for new artists like Austin and so many others.
Nice, I didn’t realize you were the artist! I love the details in your tapestries I finally started getting into tie dye 6 years back or so and found some of the artists you mentioned. It’s impressive art for sure.
Im soaking 2 Strawberry Gary (Exotic Genetix) and 3 White Truffle (Fresh Coast) both fem. Not sure where I’ll find room for them but if there’s a will, there’s a way lol.
With no additions to the honey do list?
You definitely got grow skills, shows in your grows. Starting with excellent genetics makes a huge difference in the final results. I have been using BOG soil mix (1 cup blood meal, 1/2 cup bone meal, 1 teaspoon epsom salt per cubic foot soil) and miracle grow potting soil for 20 years with outstanding results. This time for the BOG SBT’s I switched to organic fox farms and fiber pots, I did not add my usual soil boost and I can see that I should have. Plant’s are usual light green , instead of darker and more Jurassic looking.

I can see your getting good results, so I will switch them to oceanF for flowering and see if I will continue with organic. I don’t like either soil so far because the smell of both is horrible.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks man! I got lucky with a very chill wife & I 100% agree with you…good genetics are worth it in the end.
That sour grape looks good to me. I had a calmag/pH issue throughout veg that I finally fixed. After a few weeks of treatment they got that nice dark green to them. I did roughly a 60/20/20 ocean forest/perlite/happy frog mix when I transplanted that round for flower and they seem to like it so far
Thank you for sharing your mix ratio, my current plan is to split the bottoms of the one gallon fab pots and slightly sink them in on top of 3 gal fab pots filled with oceanF. I’m going to look more into making the 3 gallon pot a ratio mix. I was looking at that SG picture last night and my mouth was watering because the buds tasted so good, then I realized I took that picture outside of the grow room without a thousand watts of light. Going to take some pictures of the SBT to see if they are green as they should be outside, if not… going to back the light down to about 85%.
Anyone have an idea about these purpling leaf tips and clawing leaves? This is the Black A5 Piff that got watered clean yesterday and are getting flipped to flower tonight. They’ve been getting the fox farm veg schedule with calmag once a week up until this point. Temperatures have been 75-80. They got transplanted into ocean forest a week ago and have shown plenty of growth since then. I’m stumped 🤷
