Hi, there. I’ve been meaning to grow these out for a long time but the timing has never been right. The timing is still not right but I’m just gonna go for it. Like a lot of you, I drooled over B.O.G.'s plant, bud, and hash pics way back in the OG Overgrow days before RC got busted. The seeds I’m using aren’t that old, unfortunately, but I bought this pack directly from B.O.G. in 2016 and they’ve been in my fridge ever since. I’d like to get the F2s out to the community.
This grow log will be slow going but I will update periodically. Wish us luck!
I grew some Bogglegum and Sour Bubble for my first LEGAL grow here in Michigan. The bag of Bogglegum seeds was about 20 years old at the time and had been kept in a burping jar in my fruit cellar along with my other seeds They had never been in a frig but a cool room in the basement. I was 4 for 5 germinating them.
Three of the bogglegums were males and got culled, the remaining two were Sour Bubble and Bogglegum.
In this pic if you click a couple times, it shows the older packaging for the Bogglegum underneath the Blue Kush.
I have good news and bad news. Five have popped up out of the soil. I checked on the ones that hadn’t and I found tiny worms devouring them. One was completely eaten out (ha-ha). I suspect that the roots of the ones that have germinated are also under attack. I have spinosad on hand. Will that work? I also have Pyganic. There is a store near me that carries Mosquito Bits.
Did they look like these little fuckers? They ate my bubba beans Been trying to find out what they are.I used some Brut ECW put the seeds in a pinch of it into the dirt pots.Got suspect when nothing was popping so i dug up a bean and found these little worms crawled into the shell of the seed and devoured the seedling.I want to say thier nematodes that are left in the ECW apparently Worms digest nematodes and pass them into the ECW.Particularly Brut ECW is the culprit as mr wiggler never does this which makes me think they pasteurize thier Castings
Those are 100 percent nematodes they will gather into this wiggling mass that looks like something out of that carpenter film the Thing.I would have said dirtgnat larvae but those dont have the little beady black heads. Its Definitely Nematodes
Google says that nematodes can’t be seen with the naked eye. I think they might be tiny fungus gnat larvae but they seem longer and skinnier than all the pictures that pop up when searching.
Yeah but thier going to have black spots on thier head.Im not seeing that in your or my pics i put one under my scope and they were white translucent all the way.Wierd.Chat says that certain nemos are visble so ???
I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’ve never had this problem before. Of course it happens when I’m using rare seeds and trying to get them out to everybody. Murphy’s Law.
