BOO (Bag Of Oranges) Seed Updates ... 🍊

Boo #1 and #2 received the STS spray. It’s starting to look like it’s getting it’s foot hold on making pollen sacks. We may have luck on our side since this is my first time trying to reverse a plant.

I hope one of these is the black pheno I keep hearing about.

Just a guess but i would say all 4 along the back and bottom right will be black, the rest green.

I hope so, it will definitely make this all worth it, I typically like to grow Sinsemilla, but I felt this was a worthy cause to do to give back. This is Boo #2 one of the ones I STS sprayed.

I yhink the black pheno is pretty common, but just from the 2 i have going the green smells amazing.

It looks like it’s safe to say the consensus is that regardless of the source, the beans appear to carry the traits lending to BOO. Sounds like everyone’s in agreement about strong orange on stem runs - a relief to plenty I’m sure.

I had recieved a package from TST before his antics were noticed and as more people questioned the beans here - the more concerned I was. As I have now used a few of the plants in a few crosses. Namely a Uncle Festers Skunk line that was supposedly direct from Master Thai.

Is there anyone here who knows where the packs of UFS came from originally? I don’t remember where I read It, but I think on one of his threads it was mentioned. I’d like to track the origin if I could.

Glad to see the pack of BOO is likely what it was supposed to be. Might have a pop a few beans myself.

Great comment! :+1:t4:

If it’s the Co-Op beans, I think they were made by @Sebring. Worth looking into.

I think your spot-on with this, one of the ones in the back has a really stank smell, more than the others. This plant is very leafy. They always look sad.

THE second they want water they droop!

I usually run with sip buckets but for this! Hand water time with lots of old milk jugs

Shit, I forgot to mention -
I would cover your soil when doing STS applications. That way you dont get toxic metals in the soil.
And obviously, let em dry before putting them back under lights.

When I did STS for autos I did 1 spray past seeing pollen sacs forming and it worked fine but I don’t think you’re supposed to.

If it’s toxic metals why are we putting it on our plants
Will the toxicity end up in the seed
any traceable amount

I generally stick to my schedule no matter what.

First spray five-ish days before flower(can be harder to time with autos. You just have to keep a close eye), then a trearment every five days, for a total of five treatments.

Hasn’t failed me yet. But every plant will be different. I’m sure theres a failure waiting for me sometime.

Yes, exactly.
I try and maintain a living rhizosphere. Feeding only organic inputs.
The silver nitrate could damage the microbial life.
