Bought new phone, now i cant upload pics

I just got an iphone 16 plus and now i cant upload most of the pictures i take. Sometimes if i crop out 25% of the pic it will upload… most of the time cropping is no help.
Using a 3rd party to resize the photos would doesnt sound ideal… worst part is i got the phone to take better pics haha.
Any ideas on if there is something simple i can change to fix this issue?

Check your camera settings, maybe you can change to a lower resolution … beer3|nullxnull

I have an Iphone 16 pro and you can change the settings to be less…I just take a screenshot of the picture because the size is too large even after doing this. Also check if you have RAW enabled in settings or if it compressed. The file size differences are huge. I just took a couple photos earlier today to compare and it was 77MB vs 2MB.

Thanks so much! That is so simple and effective.
Screenshot for the win!
Resize thru adobe if you wanna little bit more detail but thats extra steps.

Limit raised. Hopefully there won’t be an issue now.

Wow, 28 gig for one video? Damn. The resolution of these new cameras is crazy.

512gb will fill up in no time with videos that size. Thats only just over 18 videos of 28gb in size.

I’d transfer the videos to a PC or usb storage device!

This is what it says on my phone. 4k 30FPS is 6GB a minute…60FPS 4k and 120FPS 4k is usually for professional type stuff that will be edited later on a computer.
