Hey OG breeders…one thing that would be great to hear about is how breeders going legal (getting licensed) go about it and how that fits in with the seed to sale tag system. I know most licenses are drawn up and legally structured towards cultivation and retail sales. I am looking at moving into the legal market for cultivation but want to be able to use some of the square footage allotment for selection and breeding. I’m not sure how that would work because everything has to be tagged and accounted for and then a certain income quota reported. So how are breeders using licensing for their breeding work ? Thanks

I think a lot of commercial operations who breed their own send off the de-seeded leftovers for process into concentrates.
At least I know two places that do that anyway.

Canada you’ll need a nursery license to make seeds and distribute clones doesn’t appear to be too much red tape to get one!
