Bros grimm durban nights xx

Hello all, just wanted to start a separate thread with these bros grimm seeds.i had posted some in my bagseed thread with no interest.

Plants are at 4 days. Durban nights is dtc99 x jack herer. Supposed to be some great plants in this line with terps being the highlight. I’ll periodically update. Excuse the bad quality pics from my phone, I’ll have better ones when there’s actually something to look out. They are sharing space with 2 liberty hazes at week 6.

Should be very cool. Definitely gems in there! Looking forward to watching them grow :facepunch:t2:

Ya I have high hopes for these ladies. Brother’s grimm always brings the heat with sativa dom hybrids, Mr. Soul loves durban thai and says its his personal favorite. Figured adding jack herer to the mix can’t hurt. I’ve seen a few grows with outstanding results.

I certainly hope so I’ve always been a big fan of theirs. I never had a chance to try their gear ages ago, but always heard great things. Who doesn’t love c99? I’m a huge sativa fan, and with a 10 week flower period! Unheard of, most take 12 plus weeks. I’ve seen no grows on this cultivar so kinda going in blind on what to expect. I’m guessing they will be huge tall plants.

Here we go guys…these are growing fast. I have them under my little led at half power, and they are loving life at this point. I live in the deep south and it’s hot as balls right now 100 + everyday. In the fall I’ll bust out the big lights. One seedling is really trucking. Here’s the 3, excuse my photography skills. You get the idea though. I’m not sure what I’m going to do growing wise, bros grimm says don’t train these.
They recommend staking the main lead and that’s it. I have a feeling at least one of em will try to outgrow my tent. In that case I’ll tie the plant down.

On a side note, I saw an interview where Mr. Soul claims the jack used in this cultivar was the cup winning cut from way back when that was actually given to Jack Herer. So the pedigree is definitely here for great things. Growing from seed is just so rewarding for me. I’d rather find my own special female than take somebody else’s clone. That’s what’s fun is finding your own treasure. I’m probably in the minority bc anybody can buy a clone these days where all the work has been done for you.

Looking great :+1:. We lucked out this year hasn’t been to hot at all sucks you’re going through that!

Yes it sucks bc I have to use lights at half power, and half size. But I’ll just use this as an opportunity to veg them until late September. The heat does make them drink more in return they grow faster. I have a ton of air flow which helps too.

2 liberty hazes behind them, nice strain too. Stinky as hell.

Here’s some pics of the 3 that came out a little better. I’ll wait until Monday to show more after they’ve grown a bit. Flower pic is the “haze” plants sharing space.

The top middle plant is a bagseed. Have 1 more to put in their this afternoon. Simple grow as always…ffof soil and epsom salts. That’s all I use all the way to harvest.

I’m running one now too. She’ll finish in about a week.

Please share, how has it been. Should I train them?

Here’s a couple of shots from about a month ago. Running in 7-gallon pot with FF coco loco under Mars Hydro FC-6500

As you can tell, I’m not an aggressive pruner.

I FIM once at the 3rd node. She developed some quite nice tops and had bushed out nicely. The stretch wasn’t bad.

I’ll try to take and post up some more recent photos. It’s not this pretty ATM. She appears to be quite hungry.

Thank you! Haven’t seen anything on this one. Your plants a beast, how’s she smell? I’m really hoping I get an incense pheno. Actually looks manageable, I have about 5.5 ft headroom so should be straight. I generally don’t defoliate or anything else for that matter but remove lower growth about 3 nodes up.

There’s another fella on here I’m communicating with whos running the dtc99 xx. He’s about right where I am on his grow.

I think you’ll be solid with that kind of clearance. She smells very nice. The buds are definitely more “haze-like” in how they’ve stacked…

Mostly a friendly grow. It’s only in the last week or so that she’s been showing signs of hunger.

Her cake day is close though so yesterday was probably her last feeding. If the smoke turns out nice, I’d give this one another run or three.

Sounds good I’ll keep an eye out for yours finishing up. Please keep me updated here.

Here we go a few days later, was going to wait until Monday. Plants have been growing at a good pace so here they are. I’ll probably hit them with some grow big next watering, fed epsom salt yesterday.

2 look alike other than one being taller, last pic is the short slower one.

Liberty haze almost there, Probably wait 2 more weeks. I like my herb ripe. Cut a little sample too green smelling and too many white hairs right now. Althoughbshe could def be cut now if it was necessary. It has a nice look to it, no trichomes on eany leaves or fans only on buds. Buds have an almost neon green color to em.

Pics with lights on…
