That is difficult to say… Some have early heavy aromas and some don’t get to much scent till the last 2 weeks. GoverMint stinks early that’s for sure. The machine with GoverMint has a strong garlic funk already not many others throwing out the early funk yet… Cheers @TonesOwn

I have ran the GoverMint it’s in here I did a full run of the GoverMint like 6 months ago I think maybe less. I still have a few jars. I think that strain is a stinker early but others eventually catch up before harvest it kind of evens out. Zowah is strong sour citrus at the end of flower and totally reeks more than GoverMint when it’s all Jared up properly. If I was gonna say the stinkiest, it would probably be Zowah after all cured and in jars… Cheers @TonesOwn

I’m kinda surprised youd say the Zowah but that makes sense too. Tbh I haven’t grown anything yet that I was like damn that shit stanks. My tent right now is the stinkiest it’s been but it’s not an overwhelming stank it’s more sweet

Update- Producer #1 We are end of week 4 flower. I had to turn down the light power level 1 click. The stretch put a few tops close to the light. I will tie them up pull them away tonight. We did a big defoliation a few days ago. At least 30 percent pretty aggressive to get more light to the lowers. It’s a pretty big change with the defoliation so waiting to see how they respond this week. The Toronja is looking pretty interesting as it fills out with trics. TangieBerto is looking killer already looks dense and colorful pistols. Madd Fruit is a stretcher lol and will require Extream bending lol. Mango Mentality will get tied to the side to limit some light exposure but it’s not to bad on the stretch.

Ive been considering heavy defoliatuon as well a few key times during flowering… whats the heaviest you go? I always fear I’ll end up doing too much… or stunt her growth… etc…

General rule of safe don’t go above 30% at any given time that’s really aggressive. And a lot of people would say do that overtime. But I don’t have time for that and it’s blocking a lot of sites lol. I don’t have a problem with heavy defoliation if the plant is healthy and happy taking 30% or just to touch more is safe. But if it wasn’t healthy and happy, you should probably lower that number lol I always end up trying to do this in one or two rounds max for defoliation. I will only take off a handful from here on out where it blocks light only… Cheers @Terpsnpurps

Update- Producer #2 We are the same on this machine end of week 4 flower. We did a big defoliation on this machine aswell. Turned down the lights 1 click to stay consistent. Pretty easy to see Blue Nerds and Moroccan Peaches are just producers lol. They potentially have double the flower sites on the same size plant as the neighboring plants lol. Not much in the runaway tops department on this machine. Most likely from the CFL lights. This machine has the blue. The other machine has not had the CFL light replaced. California dose not like those lights I have to go to Vegas. I have not had time to go to Vegas. That sounds terrible for a lot of reasons lol

Tangieberto returning as the dark horse contender! Interesting.
Also I would worry about defoliation percentage. Concern yourself with humility under the canopy and overall light penetration. Pretty sure you could strip a healthy plant to the bone and be fine

I’m hoping blue nerds turns out well, or at least as good as runtz. I just culled my runtz mom. Lovely cut but I’ve smoked way too much of her for a lifetime. Looking forward to trying a new flavor of a similar ice cream

Moroccan peaches and blue nerds branch out really nicely easy to get fairly decent size plant with almost no veg time. I can’t even find the main stalk without some serious stem maze lol… Cheers @sardinebags

It’s always hard to tell if there is only one cut of some variety going around but I thiiiiiink I’ve tried blue nerds. There a pheno that I’ve seen at my local grey market deli style dispensary. They’ve had blue nerds for their house brand a few times. Looks really nice, compact bud structure. Hard to read too into it though since they cure for shit and harvest earlier than I would. Runts didn’t have a good growth structure. If you could keep the terps profile and iterate on yield / structure that would be a killer plant. That’s what im hopeful blue nerds is not not 100% sure. Z is such a weird structured plant. Some daughters are amazing. Some are garbage. Some have beefy branches some are like spindle bushes. No rhyme or reason it seems

The Blue Nerds I smoked on was nothing like runtz. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite I’d pick any runtz over it anyday though
