If you find a bakery sweets smelling gelato pheno that just taste like sweet skunk and bakery goods every hit please let me know! Ran gelato #33 from ILGM and one pheno was like that. Everyone wanted that strain when I had it and even without a cure some of the best weed I’ve homegrown and ever tried! So terpy and tasty! I’ll be getting gelato #33 again from a guy on discord (cloney soprano) next month. Always willing to share as well brother but please keep an eye out for that pheno I’d love to have her back! Everything is looking great on your end man! I have a idea I ran by my buddies about using a 5 gal bucket or a tall trashcan with a humidifier or ultrasonic mist maker and then mount a flange to the lid and you have a mini lung room for your humidifier so your buds aren’t getting direct humidity on them. Stupid me learned this the hard way don’t put a humidifier in with your bud smh. All my big buds that grow got bud rot due to this mistake and it got me thinking while drying this run about a cheap lung room idea
Pictured below is my terrible art skills and then my buddies homemade HVAC filter for his tent that we were wanting to trial as a mini lung room. Im thinking a bigger container would really be better and he said if using a bigger container just use the ultrasonic mister and fill the container with water and im like good idea! Just not sure how well it will work until I’ve gave it a try or my buddy does

yeah it was a bit unfortunate with the fast dry for my crop that just came down… it took about 6-7 days to be really dry which is a bit too fast for my liking however!! i love mistakes because now i learn…
Anyway the Gelato is looking awesome every seed seems to be different aswell even though they were all packed together from Barneys Farm… it will be very interesting!! the Gelonade is also looking to be the biggest out of them all with a different profile but there is this one plant I have a soft spot for… Its like a perfect christmas tree and yeah it just looks like a right poser!! haha…
Bro do you think the lights off for 18 hours will be ok for these girls on day 39 of flower? its just so i can get into the right schedule… then it will be 12/12 again.

Same here man! 6-7 days is my typical dry time how long do you go? Also how do you pull it off without a humidifier?
I guess the answer to that would be, what is classed as drying is that just where its cut and hung for a few days then de-branched and tubbed? or is that then curing…
humidity has been 30% for 7 days straight so mine dried ridiculously quick… but then again that was only the outer shell leaves that i left on when i chopped it… its still very sticky inside but def a bit too dry for my liking…
Its a hard one to answer because people do so many different things people sometimes leave in darkness for 48 hours until pots are completely dry… so what i say may not be pulling it off for you for example… does that make sense?
Hopefully it does! so yeah i should have used a humidifier and bumped it up to at least 50-60% so i could leave it the extra 4-5 days
non the less its all good the bud seems nice i guess!
Ahh see yeah im saying 6-7 days from being fresh cut and hang dried. I like about a month long cure for my green after drying

cool bro, I re-read your previous question again was a late read for me last night and i see what your saying now… I sometimes get confused with curing being the dry process too! haha thanks tho bro yeah it definitely dried a touch to fast but hopefully its still ok for a good curing now! I hope it is anyway?
Me neither. I left the lowest nug on each branch, 24 hrs light, low nutes, and boom. Within ten days shoots were poking out the buds. I’m kicking myself for thinking it was harder than it is and that it would take forever. In other words, do it!

Yo heres a little update on my Gelato girls and the one Gelonade is looking strangely cool lol!
looking forward to the Gorilla ZKittles that are on day 12 now too. i will post some pics next week of them once in early veg and repotted. I will also be looking to take some clones off the best looking plant.
for now here are the girls up in BM hobby hotel… These are going to be smaller yielding plants as they were not vegged out for longer than i wanted but had to make do with the 2x4 space I had!

Couldn’t tell you who to go thru. I personally got the seeds from ILGM but I wouldn’t reccommend anyone to go there anymore. NASC might have those seeds although I’m not sure on what breeders are available
That chemtek I recently harvested from God knows who or where I got in a trade threw down 1.5 lbs per plant breaking the Bruce banner record but there isn’t anywhere offering those seeds for purchase and I believe its a homemade strain
