Haha, thanks man,

Ive ran into an issue and yep its quite typical… so the 1x free Gelonade seed I received Ive noticed late in flower ( so only today about 3-4 sets of nanners

Would you chop this plant early? or let it run 1 more week and skip flush? I just dont want them to burst or a branch to drop ( because of weight ) and pollenate my other plants

would i be right in saying chop immediately? Tbh it does look the most done out of all of them.

That’s rough man why is it always the freebies smh. I surely wouldn’t cut a plant early due to nanners unless you have multiple tents flowering and this one plant won’t get tended to. I know even in my cases I’m pretty lazy but chopping early is usually last case scenario when I want the others to finish up unaffected plants. I’ve heard you can spritz the nanners with water and pluck them off. Me personally I wouldn’t chop her early just try to make time to check on her more than needed. I also don’t flush my plants. Heard its bro science and haven’t done it in almost a year now with no ill effects. I’m sure if your running really high nutes or something but most people who study cannabis have said it’s not needed (ie Bruce bugbee)

lovely ok maybe I will remove the one plant carefully and just investigate and pluck them off… tbh its quite late in flower too i’m sure it wont have much effect… I will keep a close eye. Then after will give the space a good wipe down… Ohh I was meant to ask you actually… I just topped all 6 of my Gorilla x Zkittles… They seem to be ok some old leaf old problem cases with a couple but they are building a solid foundation now… would you tend to rupture and pinch the main stem after topping or wait until them 2 or 4 heads start to stretch and then create your canopy… hopefully you will get what i mean…

Lmao I get what your saying. I try not to top and pop on the same days to avoid any additional stress. I’ll give them a few days to a week to recover before starting any additional training or stress inducing methods

There ya go man! Yeah I train the crap outta my ladies but I really liked the supercropping and landscape staples tag team. Made my bends more dramatic and downward pointing allowing me to keep her low until i let her go

turns out that out of the 6 plants 5 were gelato the 1 free seed is riddled with nanners think im going to just chop it early I can tell by some of the spiralling bud layers on 2 of the gelato plants that the 1 free seed plant has been throwing dust into mid late flower i imagine… hoping its not a write off for the 2 gelato plants that have the signs of pollination but there we go… thats how it goes… ( lesson learned ) im not messing with free seed shite!! the one freebie in this case messed up a good few branches! pretty annoyed but i did pinch one of the swollen calyxs with white pistils shooting out and there is signs of shells trying to develop but luckily no seeds!!

what do you all think Im gunna chop that bitch out now im angry with it!

Afternoon Og’s

So… weve chopped the 5 Gelato + 1 Gelonade and they are currently drying!! I must admit I had the crop blues when chopping this beautfiul girl below she turned out stunning!!

Anyway… I have now prepped the hotel top floor with a lovely super tight trellis and the 6 x Gorilla x Zkittles have now moved in…

They are currently on day 36 since dropping the beans… I will let them adjust to the new light and space for 2 weeks before i flip. ( I have popped the branches on most strong stems to get a bit of super cropping in now i have the trellis up. I am going to water more frequently for the next couple weeks and keep the mix simple…

I have purchased Canna Mono ( my friend said throwing in 1ml/1L is fantastic and he does it right at the end even after correcting ph of the nutrient mix. So they will get A/B + Roots + Enzym + mono

If all goes well I will continue silicon into flower but for now im working on strong healthy plants with good canopies before flip!!

Cheers BM

Thank you mate! i will pinch here and there for a 1-2 weeks then flip until i know i’ve filled out the space with canopies!!

Im also going to take 4-5 clones off the best most strong looking plant to go back down in veg space once the dried gelato is ready for trim & cure!!

nice. DIY build and grow. love it.

what did you do to bring water up top? did you run some pipes and drainage up there, or carting buckets manually?

i built a spot like that in an attic way back in 1993. a hydro grow at that. getting water up there was a complete pain in the balls 2 man job.

I manually water! keeps me fit!! i have a 100L flexi tank then i just fill a bucket and take it up usually needs 2 trips but i dont mind I usually leave run off in the trays so it can drink it back up in early flower onwards so it can sometimes save 1 day of watering but i keep a close eye as its in coco coir… Im a little bit paranoid about pipes and autoflowing systems ( the electric is bad enough ) but ive got it all under control.
